Stayed Oct 8, 2025Overall a good place to stay. Clean with all furnishings ( linens, towels, paper products). Quiet neighborhood. Some things that could be better: shower is not real user friendly and weak water pressure. Maybe the owners could put in a regular shower instead of the tub with wrap around curtains. Limited space in bathroom to put all your necessities. No tv unless you have some kind of subscription service.

Stayed May 2, 2024This is the cutest little apartment! Super clean, very pretty decor, excellently equipped (lawn chairs, beach towels, a tumbler, state park pass - LOVED THAT!) and very conveniently located. Gorgeous scenery all around and a home-y place like this to stay at made for a perfect get-away!

Stayed Apr 6, 2023I absolutely loved staying here. The guest house was clean and neat and decorated in a cottage style. It was so peaceful to wake up to bird sounds each morning. The owners thought of everything. There was even a stool to get into the clawfoot tub. In the medicine cabinet, there was hairspray! Now that is thinking of everything!

Stayed Mar 20, 2026So charming and comfortable! This space was perfect for a mother-daughter weekend getaway. It would be great for a couple too--or even a couple plus one or two children. The kitchen space had everything we needed, though we didn't cook there. If our stay had been longer, we would have used more of the kitchen. It has a remarkable amount of countertop space for such a compact space. Great pantry and bedroom storage closets. Easy in and out and off-street parking. The bedroom is spacious and the living room is perfectly sized and cozy. The bathroom is small but adequately functional, and the owners have really paid attention to how to maximize function in that small space with hooks, shelves, well-placed everything. You can tell that they tested what works to determine where to put such little details. Our trip was quick--two days--and packed with activities that meant we spent very little time in the unit except for sleeping, but the approach and surroundings are just so very Lowcounty: Huge oaks hung with Spanish moss, a nearby waterway or lagoon of some type where all the water birds come in to roost in the evenings. I loved waking to the sound of the birds starting their morning. (My teen daughter wasn't a fan of those birds, but that's just how many teens are. Next time, she can bring earplugs and sleep in a little longer.) We really had everything we needed. We did make use of the park pass to visit Hunting Island, and that was such a nice addition to the rental package.

Stayed Mar 9, 2026What a perfect guest house! The pictures perfectly showed all the accommodations. The host was very receptive to our increasing our stay and got back to us immediately. When we arrived, parking on the left side of the driveway was very convenient and close to the stairs leading up to the back entrance. We had a fully functioning kitchen with a full-size stove and refrigerator. Air conditioning was located in the living room and worked perfectly.Bedroom was comfortable and had a dresser and closet with lots of space and storage. The guest house was also centrally located to so many of the things we wanted to do especially on Bay Street. Bay Street has a fantastic selection of restaurants, shops, and things to do. Favorite restaurants on Bay Street were Plum's and Panini's. Favorite shops were the Thibault Gallery and the Beaufort River Glass. Favorite ice cream shop was Southern Sweets Ice Cream & Market. For tours we used the Beaufort City Tour that met at the Kelly office on Bay Street. Fabulous tour guide with great knowledge of the city. Well worth it.The Maritime Center (Port Royal Sound Foundation) was also well worth the visit. And our favorite restaurant was Madison's on 10th Avenue in Port Royal. 90% gluten-free options were absolutely great for me.Our time went by quickly and we didn't want our vacation to end. That's how you know it was a great time!

Stayed Nov 5, 2025Beautiful House! Me and my boyfriend came down for Marine Corps Graduation and the house was located only a few minutes from the main gate which made it easy planning for going to base! If you plan on cooking, they have every basic appliance, supplies, and seasonings you would need! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet as well. The check-in and check-out process is very simple as well! The host is very accommodating as well and even left the lights on for us on our first night since I let them know we would be in late! I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, thank you so much!

Stayed Sep 16, 2025What a wonderful stay we had! Donna was just amazing and worked with me as I was there to see my daughter graduate from Boot Camp and had Little communication with her prior to booking. Donna was just amazing. I would highly recommend her. I’m so appreciative of how she worked with me and moved my reservation around several times to try to accommodate my daughter’s Wishes. The place was very cute really clean. We had a great time! It’s centrally located in a nice quiet neighborhood. If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely stay with Donna again and highly recommend her to anyone else going to the area.

Stayed Jul 28, 2025I chose this cozy apartment for my yearly sister trip! We absolutely loved it; from the claw-foot tub to the coziness of the balcony. We were provided privacy, comfort, & a sense of security due to the closeness of the owners. Check in & check out process was super easy & convenient. The kitchen had all appliances apart from a dishwasher & I loved that a Brita was provided in the fridge! We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Jun 29, 2025We really enjoyed our stay. A quiet and nice neighborhood and close to attractions and beach. Especially enjoyed nearby Hunting Beach. Proprietor nice and helpful, but not overbearing. Pic didn't actually show that apartment is attached to owner's dwelling, but that didn't cause a major problem for us since there's a private entrance. Thanks

Stayed Jun 19, 2025When we walked into the apartment right away we were very pleased. An adorable kitchen. Had everything we needed. Nice size pantry. There was a comfy couch, nice area carpet layed over wooden floors. A TV in the livingroom & one in the bedroom. Easy to work the remotes. A nice size bedroom & comfy bed. Good size walk in closet. Bathroom had a great supply of towels & wash cloths. Big containers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash with nice size words on them so they could be read without one’s glasses. Cute little porch right outside the bedroom. One thing we really liked was the attention paid to details such as motion detector lights along the stairs taking us upstairs. And the multiple plug ins. AC was user friendly. It was a nice and quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe. Great location. Great for 2 adults and 1 kiddo.

Stayed May 31, 2025We had a great time exploring the Beaufort, SC area. The guest house was very comfortable and conveniently located. The owners have made sure to provide everything you need. Best of all, it was affordable for the area. The property where the guest house is located is beautifully maintained, but unfortunately, there are houses on the street that are extremely junky and unattractive. This was not a particular problem for us, but it may be a concern for others.

Stayed Mar 3, 2025We are always happy to stay at this little guesthouse (above the hosts’ house garage), on a quiet street just off of Mossy Oaks Rd. (in part of Beaufort that extends south toward Port Royal). This cute little apartment is just right for a couple or small family, always feels very clean and comfortable, with lots of nice touches (whether decor, games/books for children as well as adults, Roku with guest options so you can stream apps using your own logins on the tv which then get cleared on checkout, etc). The heat/cooling system works nicely, with overhead fans in living room & the bedroom. The claw foot bathtub is nice, with surrounding shower curtain for those like me who prefer showers. The little kitchen is nice with fridge snd stove/oven and enough cookware and glassware for any meals that work well for the small space (either seated around coffee table or on chairs at little kitchen counter). The hosts are always very responsive to any concerns or issues, through VRBO app or directly through their cellphone numbers provided. They provide a car pass which lets anyone in a car be admitted to state parks (particularly helpful for Hunting Island beaches, lighthouse, hiking trails, Boneyard Beach, fishing pier looking out at Fripp Island, etc.The apartment is well represented by the photos and description on VRBO, which shows that there are stairs up to the entrance at the back of the garage. We love the quiet neighborhood with Spanish Moss greenway/trail nearby.

Stayed Dec 8, 2024My wife & I have stayed here multiple times, and enjoy the location (on little street running between Mossy Oaks and pretty Broad Street), the nice touches provided by the host (state park pass great for Hunting Island, supplies for kitchen & shower, the nice Christmas decorations on their main house and in the neighborhood, etc), and the value of the booking itself! The house is as shown in the listing, and it is small with flight of steps up to the apartment. There is room for two to eat at the counter, and a few can around the coffee table for casual snacking or simple meals. The host kindly helped us with an early check-in. There are some plates, utensils, glassware, a few pans, a toaster, oven/range, drip coffeemaker, and fridge. We definitely want to stay again.

Stayed Dec 3, 2024This cottage is so comfy and cozy! We were thrilled to arrive and find easy contactless check in. This is a perfect place to stay for Marine Corps Graduation as it is less than a 10 minute drive. There is a Publix close by which carries all our favorites brands and a Chick Fil A! The host has the cottage decorated with a home away from home feel. Little touches make it perfect such as the board games, Epson Salt Bubble bath, soft towels, and Mrs. Meyers Hand Soap. The master bed is super comfy and the sofa is perfect for watching TV as a family. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. You can hear the roosters in the morning and enjoy nature sipping your coffee on the balcony. Everything was perfect! Thank you so much!
