Welcome to Alki Beach, Seattle's birthplace, and home of the historic Alki cottage. Built in 1907 and recently updated, this cottage is one of the original West Seattle beach houses. Detailed with memorabilia, this two-story bungalow celebrates Seattle's legendary music scene. Enjoy Puget Sound and Olympic Mountain views from your front porch and throughout the house. Launch paddle boards or kayaks directly across the street. You'll find the extensive walking and bike path along Alki here as well. When you're ready to go sightseeing or take in a game, hop on the water taxi for a scenic ride across Elliott Bay to Seattle's waterfront and downtown! Styled with an amazing array of memorabilia, the living room is a music lover's dream! Choose an album to play from the well-stocked collection. Or settle in on the sleeper sofa and watch a movie on the 58-inch Smart TV. The reading nook also offers a record player and gorgeous water views.

Prepare meals and beach snacks in the well-appointed kitchen, equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances. When you're ready to eat, gather around the welcoming table in the dining area. Start your day sipping coffee on the porch with a full view of Puget Sound and the Alki boardwalk. A firepit, ample seating, and gas grill await on the patio. In the yard, you'll find a gas grill and picnic table - perfect for a sunlit al fresco meal. This relaxing retreat is steps from the Alki Beach Volleyball courts as well as numerous eateries and pubs. Spend the day tide-pooling or take in breathtaking sunsets at one of the fire pits along the beach!

The passenger-only water taxi at Seacrest Ferry Dock is less than a mile away. Grab the free shuttle or skate, bike, or walk to it as bikes are allowed on-board. Enjoy the stunning views of downtown Seattle as the water taxi transports you to Colman Dock. Then stroll to popular attractions like Pike Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, historic Pioneer Square, and the sports stadiums (Century Link and T-Mobile Park). There is the bustling West Seattle shopping district - The Junction (home of Easy Street Records, Husky Deli, Bakery Nouveau, etc) for a local experience.

this house, built in the early 20th century, is in the perfect location to enjoy Alki. Its cozy and has plenty of room for friends or families. The record collection is top notch and lends itself to group listening sessions, a perfect way to spend a rainy day when the seattle weather keeps you off the beach.

Great location and music vibe. Feedback would be ants and no window covering on main level bedroom windows.

This house has an amazing location. It’s very old and rickety, but if you can just embrace that, the location is wonderful. You can see the water, and it’s a short drive to downtown Seattle.

Probably my favorite rental ever and for a variety of reasons. The decor and connection to the depth and culture of Seattle and West Seattle specifically, the location across the street from the beach and for my group it was the nostalgia of being back next in the neighborhood we grew up in. We’ll be back!

I stayed here with some friends for a Wu-Tang concert weekend. Great vibe. I used to live in West Seattle so I knew the area well, and enjoyed a very nice dinner at Il Nido. Hard to beat a summer weekend at Alki. The house is old and rickety, but clean and comfortable. Perfect for us.

What a hidden gem! We had an amazing time and made some beautiful memories here with our friends for Fourth of July. The vibes were extremely chill and welcoming. Super close to the beach and all that Alki has to offer. We will definitely be back.

Easy Street Beach House is a quirky retreat on Alki Beach in eclectic West Seattle. It was the ideal gathering point for us, 3 of our adul children, and a dog. Easy Street Beach House oozes with history of rock music in the Pacific Northwest. Be aware that, like the music scene it represents, Easy Street Beach House is somewhat rough around the edges, intesely creative, and beautiful; but it is not a spa. If everyone in your group can go with the flow, it a great place to stay!

The location was nice and the record collection was amazing. Overall, the home is very old and the condition reflects that. Lacking in privacy, and the noise from Alki Way is loud.

Great location across the street from the water. Plenty of room for our teen boys to lounge around the house. Great music memorabilia throughout the property. Borrowed some bikes to get to a beach bar down the street.

The location and view was great, the beds were comfortable aside from the yucky things I found on the sheets. There were more stairs that anticipated that were a bit treacherous for my small kids. In the house the floor levels changed all over the house causing me to trip and nearly fall so accessibility of the house is not very good at all. There were tons of broken toys in the beach bin which is understandable but would have been nice if they had just been thrown away. We were only provided with a partial roll of toilet paper with no spares in the house and told it was our responsibility to replace it which I found to be ridiculous for a place we were paying to stay at. Luckily the property manager had some sent to the house. This is not a place I would stay again primarily due to the inaccesibility of the house.

This might be the best VRBO house we have stayed in and we travel quite a bit. It is cozy, eclectic, and charming. We are so glad we had the opportunity to stay here. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect. There were 6 of us- 2 parents, 4 kids (21, 18, 16, and 13).

This was our first time renting a house in Seattle. All the music culture was so cool to see. You can play vinyl records and see a bunch of different music posters. The fire was all set up for us all we had to do was light it! I highly recommend this house for families.

This historic property was like sleeping in a Seattle rock museum. Many amenities were also provided. Everything was clean and the view was amazing. I would recommend this property to friends or people coming to visit the beautiful city of seattle.
