Stayed Oct 27, 2025I was celebrating my 70 th birthday. There was a sweet birthday message waiting for me on the chalkboard!This house was exceptionally clean! The bed was comfortable and the wet room with rain shower and antique tub was amazing.We totally enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Oct 4, 2025House worked well for us since there were no stairs for my old dog to navigate. No where to walk the dog so we went to Riverside park 3 minutes away and that was great. The furniture was a little dated and the floor is a bit wonky but the overall was just fine. Kitchen and bathroom were great. Beds were fine, parking is tight for big trucks and no room for any kind of trailer but it's doable otherwise. Neighbors are very friendly. Proximity to everything is like 10 to 20 minutes so that was perfect. If you play golf the muni is really fun and Chestnut mountain is a blast.

Stayed Sep 25, 2025The home was very clean and well-equipped for travelling with our senior dog. The online description of the home & amenities is spot-on and the host is a great communicator! Lot's of little extras with this home including a dog bed & bowls, nice quality linens, trail snacks, coffee and foodwrap in the kitchen, bubblebath and bodywash in the wet room, and a helpful guidebook - the online version of the guidebook was sent to us online ahead of our stay, which was helpful. This home is clearly lovingly cared for and thoughtfully furnished for the enjoyment of guests. The location is minutes to a great casual coffee shop by the river and a short drive to all the major Asheville attractions. We had a lovely 3-night stay at Olive House and hope to stay again soon!

Stayed Aug 14, 2025We had a blast at the Olive House for our weekend trip to Asheville. It is so close to downtown, we were able to hop in and out for dinners. The house is cute and cozy, and our dog loved it too. The hosts were amazing throughout the whole process and super communicative. We’ll definitely come back.

Stayed May 17, 2025We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Olive House. The house was well appointed and we enjoyed the decor and fun green and orange exterior. We felt welcome from the moment we got there. We appreciated the trail mix for us and tennis ball for our pup, Heath. The beds were comfortable and the wet room bathroom was incredible. We enjoyed the porch at the beginning and end of the day. Olive is convenient to all of our favorite Asheville spots. We loved it and hope to be back soon.

Stayed Sep 18, 2024Olive House was extremely clean and welcoming. I especially loved the farmhouse decor. The master bathroom/wet room did not disappoint with the soaking tub and double shower. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay at Olive House again.

Stayed Aug 9, 2024We felt so lucky to have found this house. It is the cutest place ever. It was clean and had a great shower/bath and super comfy bed. The proximity to my family was amazing with my brother 2.1 miles away and my mom 2 miles in the other direction. The neighborhood is quiet, even with a girly busy dirt road beside the house and I even met some of the neighbors and enjoyed some nice conversation with them. The homeowner was so very nice, gracious, and attentive. We discovered that a previous guest had broken the blender and she was at our door in 10 minutes with a new one. We couldn't have been happier with our stay here and will definitely try to stay here again the next time we are in town if it is available.

Stayed Jul 15, 2024This was a fabulous location for all things Asheville! Whether going downtown, touring Biltmore, or outdoor recreation such as hiking, paddle boarding, or tubing, this location provided easy access to a variety of activities while being nestled in a lovely and peaceful neighborhood. On the plus side, the owner is excellent in communicating, should you need anything, and the house is beautiful and clean. I highly recommend a stay at the Olive House. ;)

Stayed Jul 4, 2024We had a wonderful stay at Kris’s property. The house was spotless, my dog was so excited to find a bed and ball just for him. My kids and dog loved the backyard. Kris was a wonderful and accommodating host who was on top of everything we needed and always available. The house was close to Asheville and lots of hiking. We loved the large wet room and the kitchen had everything we needed, especially cooking at the home most meals since we had our younger children with us. There wasn’t anything that was lacking ! Thank you Olive House!

We had our dog along who thought it was divine that a tennis ball had been left for her. No appliances were complicated, all light switches easy to find, absolutely seamless. Stayed May 23, 2024My adult daughter, her dog and I stayed at the Olive House over an extra long Memorial Day weekend. We loved our stay here. Super cute, comfortable beds, GREAT communication. Exactly as advertised. Only 6-7 miles to downtown Asheville. I will also say that while we’ve stayed in other places that have permitted her dog to stay, this is the first place than made him welcomed. So that’s a huge plus for us.
