Stayed Jul 27, 2024Beautiful house! Close to Black River Marina boat launch. (Marina is closed.) First time on Black Lake, the periphery of the lake is a little more shallow than neighboring lakes, but once we got used to that we fell in love with it. Calm, quiet, good for fishing, big enough for tubing & skiing. Can’t wait to come back!!

Stayed Jun 29, 2024We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and well equipped. The lakefront is very nice and the little beach was fun for the kids. We watched the fireworks from the dock and had dinners on the picnic table. So fun! Would have expected WiFi for the price, but otherwise it has everything we needed.

Stayed Aug 5, 2023This property is absolutely beautiful! With adult kids, the twin beds were a bit small, but that didn't get in our way. The location on the lake is amazing. Perfect to bring your boat and enjoy the water. The only thing this place doesn't have is NOISE! So quiet and peaceful!! Truly a gem :) We'd love to come back again! Loved the pizza at Dirty Duck.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023We enjoyed our stay. The house was updated and comfortably decorated. The deck was a nice place to relax and enjoy the view. I gave this four stars because the swimming area was very shallow so we were not able to do any fishing from the dock and no swimming really. My husband got a leech on his foot on day one so after that we were very leary of walking in the water. It would have been nicer if the swimming area had been raked as it was mucky. Thankfully we had brought floaties, so we used those a couple times to get in the water. The little beach area was cute. I would recommend bringing kayaks or renting a boat if you want to be able to fish or swim.

Stayed Jul 15, 2023The property was well cared for. Everything was great. My family loved the dock space. Bring your water shoes, rocks are hard on your feet if you want to walk out from the dock. The water level is super shallow (only boat ramp to unload the boat was at the state park, then you had to find the house) but the kiddos could play and I had very little worry. Very peaceful location and master bed was very comfortable.
