Newly renovated Long Lake Cottage in Bridgton w dock 4 boat. Kayaks/PaddleBoard

Not only is the lake view amazing so is the flower garden. Upon arrival we could see hummingbirds and other songbirds flying past the deck. The house was perfect for our family and the use of the kayaks and paddleboards were a major plus with my kids. The owners go above and beyond for anything we needed and were so very kind. The house is located a few mins away from everything you could need. Tears were shed by us when we had to leave this tranquil vacation.

The rental was very quaint and peaceful. It was fully stocked and we had everything we needed for a peacefully getaway, nice fluffy towels, appliances, coffee, hot cocoa, A/C, etc. The grounds were beautiful groomed, loved the garden which attracted many butterflies. Great place to nap and the nearby restaurants and shopping were wonderful! We met our host Julia who was very kind and assured us if there was anything we needed to contact her.

The owner Julie was very nice. The property was not exactly what was expected. It was not dirty, but obviously has a moisture problem. The entire cabin smells like mildew. The yard to lake feels like a bog it’s soggy and they are in a drought. There is a dehumidifier in the basement that needed to be emptied daily due to moisture. The view of the lake is blocked by trees and an over grow weedy garden. We left early because the mildew smell was causing our daughter some allergy issues. It was not all bad, but honestly not what we had hoped for. Again the owner was really nice so it’s hard to write a bad review, but want future renters to have appropriate expectations.

Julia made this easy breezy for my family. We had everything we needed and more. The process was so easy start to finish. The house was so comfortable, clean and what a beautiful lake. Thank you!

We had a great week at this rental. Julia was so kind and responsive. Cottage was clean and came with towels and sheets. We were able to dock our boat no problem. There are kayaks and paddleboards for use. We paddled right across the lake and went to the Village Tie up for some great breakfast sandwiches. My family and I had a great time.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Cosmo’s Cottage. Julia and Tony went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything needed to enjoy our stay. The location on the lake is perfect and accommodations were even better than expected. We will definitely be coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay. The cottage was spic and span when we arrived (and we hope not too much worse for wear when we left! ) We could dock our boat right down the hill. Our only disappointment was that Julia was abroad on her own vacation so we didn't cross paths.

Very clean and welcoming cottage. All the small touches were much appreciated. Beautiful location. Enjoyed using the kayaks & paddle boards on the lake. Explored the town and local brewery. Decent proximity to Pinkham Notch for a planned hike to summit. Would definitely rebook. ?

The location was perfect. The home was very well maintained. The fishing was excellent!! The property owner was available if needed and was easy to reach. We would stay at this property again. Great experience!
