Our two bedroom one bath cottage is the perfect location for all of your adventures! We are just minutes to the Gateway of the Olympic National Park Headquarters, Hurricane Ridge entrance, the Fine Arts Center, Blackball Ferry Line to Canada, downtown Port Angeles and the Discovery Trail. We are 20 minutes to Lake Crescent and further on the HOH rain forest to the west and Sequim to the east. A multitude of activities await you! Or, just sit on the deck, watch the grass grow while the deer graze in the meadow. No matter what level of fun you choose, we invite you to make a wish and enjoy the simple pleasures of life on the Dandelion Farm.
The cottage is attractive and practical. We enjoyed the spaciousness, the view, and the good kitchen. It is very well equipped, although we did bring a sharp paring knife and chef’s knife, and we were glad we did. And I can’t say enough about how great these hosts are. Quick replies on everything. The one malfunction that occurred was fixed the same afternoon that we mentioned it. (Thanks again to both of you!) We really enjoyed our stay. We are glad we booked a few extra days so we could spend a couple days slowed down and enjoying relaxed time at the cottage. And a final detail - My husband is tall so we like to let people know when a queen bed works out well. The queen size bed in the front bedroom does not have a footboard and it has a really good mattress. No rolling off the edges or toward the center, so it was entirely comfortable for my husband (6’ 4”) and me (5’ 4”).
The property owner was clear and clean with the property. Communication was easy and we had a blessed experience.
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised and Julie was very nice. the home was comfortable, clean, with an outstanding view
Comfortable home in a very convenient location! Great view and quiet spot!
I definitely recommend this property. The place was spotlessly clean and very well-stocked. For example this might sound weird but one of my pet peeves with a lot of rentals is that there are never enough places to hang up towels. This place had plenty of places to hang towels, and tons of hangers in the closets. There are grab bars in the shower, which is really nice if someone in the group has mobility challenges. The place has a very private feel even though you are just a minute or two from Port Angeles. After a busy day exploring, come back and chill out on the deck and watch the ships go by.
Favorite bit was being able to sit out in the chairs located in the field and just relax outside after working all day. It was just so peaceful!
Dandelion cottage is the perfect spot for easy travel to Olympic National park. It is very well appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Julie was very responsive!
We had a wonderful week in Port Angeles and Olympic. The location was perfect and the cottage was perfect for our little family if 4. This house was equipped with everything… truly everything we would need for our stay. We would not hesitate to stay again if we venture to Olympic again.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The property and views are exactly as depicted in the pictures. Julie was easy and pleasant to deal with, and the location was peaceful, scenic, and close to many of the sights we wanted to see in the park. Highly recommend!
Excellent location for exploring Olympic National Park and Port Angeles. This property has everything it stated including a well stocked kitchen, relaxing spaces and privacy. Morning coffee/evening wine on the patio overlooking open acres to the ocean while deer grazed nearby was a nice start/end to the day. Day trips into the park for hiking and scenic views or into Port Angeles for a meal out were convenient. Julie was a great hostess. Definitely would stay here again.
We had an amazing stay at Julie’s property. It was clean, with excellent location and extremely well stocked. Breathtaking views! She was sweet to give our kids the tour of her farm and even dropped us a container of her farm grown raspberries. One of the best stays we experienced in a vacation rental. Not to forget her recommendations of local places to eat and things to do!
We loved this little home for our stay while exploring Olympic NP! The host was very thoughtful with the set up. We would stay again.
