Stayed Sep 14, 2025Everything was great. Host was responsive. The check-in was easy, cabin instructions were easy to follow & it was very clean. The lake is huge, so we’d like to stay longer next time.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025This is a magical place and we are so glad we found it. A true immersion in nature with so much privacy and beautiful views. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, and sunning by the docks daily. The hiking from the backyard is incredible. The house was very clean and accommodating. I was skeptical of compost toileting but it actually smelled better than a normal toilet. Paul was very easy to book with and we will definitely be back!

Stayed Aug 30, 2024This house really is a gem. Very clean, fully stocked and very cozy. We were skeptical about getting to and from the island by boat but Wolfeboro was under a 10 min boat ride and had no complaints. Think of it as an adventure! The waters were clean and great boating. The upper hiking trails on the island with excellent views made the place! I would highly recommend this House and the host Paul was awesome. Robert & Cristi

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Rattlesnake Island. The house was comfortable and well-equipped for our group of five (plus our dog). The views from the house are amazing and we enjoyed hiking along the ridge line of the island. Overall, an amazing island home!

Stayed Jul 8, 2023This rental was in immaculate in condition and has every amenity you could ask for to make for a very comfortable stay! The cottage was in exceptional condition and the furnishings were very comfortable. Now let's talk about the views! You can't find a better view of the lake from this island. You get a workout from the stairs but that was expected and clearly communicated. We appreciated being able to check in a bit early on Saturday. This rental exceeded our expectations and we would rent here again!
