Lovely, spotless home. Short walk to everything Mt. Dora. Amazing Christmas lights displays. Will be back.
Nice little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Decorated nicely for the holiday. Close to the downtown are and restaurants. Liked the back yard area for my chihuahua but side gate would not stay closed and furniture needed cleaned. Overall a nice stay and would recommend.
Great little cottage. Great location. House was decorated so cute felt like home.. the heater was alittle noisy going ion and off but all in all super place. Manager was sweet and answered all our questions . Happy Holidays
This is a very cute home, close enough to walk downtown to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed it very much and so did our dog. Nice fenced front lot as well as a fenced backyard with sitting area. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use as the area had steady rain for both days. Would book again when in area.
A very short walk to downtown, it feels more like a studio cottage. Clean and tidy with a usable back yard patio and fire pit.
Really enjoyed my stay. Nice backyard with fire pit. Closest enough to downtown for a walk but not to close were parking is a problem.
The house is small but was fine for 3 friends. it is a little far to walk to downtown for older people. the steep steps on the front porch definitely need a rail. the beds very very firm and the a. c. is loud. the t. v.s are hard to figure out. nice place to sit in the back yard. could use a grill. i would stay again only if a rail was put up the steps. very clean
Stayed at the cottage while visiting the area for a fishing tournament. The property was nice, clean, and had plenty of room for a small family. You could not ask for a better location being only a few blocks from downtown Dora. We literally walked to town each day for coffee and dinner, which was nice not having to deal with the traffic or parking. We'll definitely book again next time we're in the area!
I loved that little home . It was very cozy and places right in the center of town . I would love to visit again soon but for a longer period of time . We truly enjoyed our stay .
This cottage was exactly as described and was a perfect size for us (two adults and a pet). Owner was responsive and checked in with us upon arrival to make sure everything was ok. Comfortable and cozy living room and bedroom. Kitchen is small but more than adequate for what we needed. One thing worth noting is that the ceilings are low (just the style of the house) but if you're tall (6.0ft) you need to watch out for the ceiling fans! The neighborhood is very quiet and the people we met on walks were very friendly. Its proximity to downtown is a big plus. We could be at any of the many lovely bars/restaurants/shops within a 10 minute casual stroll. Would stay here again for sure and highly recommend it.
My friend and I were there only one full day, but the cottage is cute, the location is wonderful (in a quiet little neighborhood just a few blocks from downtown) and it is exactly as described. The gazebo out back is a lovely addition, tho if you plan on spending time out doors, do take some bug spray. The living room was cozy, the kitchen well stocked, and the back porch was bright and cheery. We drove to downtown, just because it was so hot, but in the fall it would be a lovely short walk. We are planning on going back just before Christmas, and will check to see if this cottage is available. I would recommend it to anyone.
It was.clean and in a great location! We enjoyed our stay!
This well maintained cottage had all the amenities needed for a week stay. We would definitely consider staying here again when we are in the area.
The place was very cute and loved being on the water!
I really liked this property. It had a screened in porch and sun room which I spent a lot of time in. The backyard is big and lovely with lights, chairs, and an awning space. Kitchen was well equipped, including stainless steel cookware which was a plus. Nothing toxic. Excellent location. The only thing that bugged me had nothing to do with the property- the neighbor has a dog which is like a rooster and starts barking at 6-6:30am. If you sleep with the window open, he'll be your wakeup alarm EVERY morning. It didn't bother me with the window closed. Loved the location and the house!
This cottage is comfortable, reasonably priced, peaceful and a short drive (or longer walk) to the heart of downtown Mt. Dora. A really nice base of operations for any length of stay. It was a major contributor to a great 2-day visit.
Smooth!
Nice place… the kind you want to stay at every time.
The house was well stocked for our needs. The only thing we did not have were regular forks. Also the twin bed bedroom lacked lighting fixtures.
Very clean and pleasant. Outside patio was a plus. One complaint a/c was too loud.
