Moroccan Inspired Cottage

we enjoyed our time at the cottage so very much! it was so close to everything downtown and the actual cottage was so beautiful—so much natural light! we especially loved the book loft and getting to love on the two kitties on the property:)

It was a great restful oasis for us on an active trip. Smells and looks great when you walk in. Nice quiet neighborhood. Great kitchen. Overall awesome space.

Camille has created a welcoming oasis in the mountains of North Carolina. The house and landscaping are beautiful. I bet during the summer, it’s totally magical. Pictures can’t convey the energy of this space. It was really very nice. The decor is fun and unique and cozy. She has thought of everything you might need for your stay. I hope to be able to visit again!

Loved staying in this cottage. It was small but so much to enjoy. Very comfortable. Outside sitting area, close to walkable restaurants. A short drive to downtown. Delicious morning coffee.or tea.

This place was absolutely perfect. I found it online because it was a different style than all the other places I saw and it was even more incredible in person! The property outside is gorgeous with all the surrounding garden and chickens and 2 cats would greet us whenever we left or arrived. The inside was even more amazing in that you truly felt like you were in a Moroccan cottage but in the mountains of Asheville. We were able to chat with Camille a couple times and she was so warm and friendly and gave us recommendations on some places to visit in town. We were there for a 40th birthday celebration and we decided to now make it an annual trip to stay in this beautiful home. Thank you for everything and see you again soon!

We loved staying at the mermaid cottage for a few days while in Asheville! Is very central to great restaurants and things to do around the city! The cottage was very cozy and we loved having a greeting and send off liaison every time we arrived at or left the cottage (one of the two kitties) ! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! We walked to the New Belgium Brewery and Owl Bakery. What a gorgeous property and sweet neighborhood- it was perfect!

Was overall a great stay! Everything was very clean and appeared exactly like in the photos. We had only one issue, which was the instructions for entering the building were slightly unclear; though the owner responded in a timely manner to assist, and so it was no big deal. Highly recommend!

We loved every second of our stay in Asheville and we really enjoyed this home and every single thoughtful detail. It’s cozy but has everything you may need, apart from a washer and dryer which we did not need while we were there. Camille was available for any questions. We are looking forward to visiting here again!

Camille’s place was wonderful - charming, clean, comfortable…and so cute! The neighborhood is perfectly situated in West AVL and it is very walkable to all of the great restaurants and shops.

Cutest little place surrounded by a garden full of flowers. Quiet street and a couple of friendly kitties to hang out with.

We were greeted by a beautiful garden and 2 friendly kitties As soon as we walked in the door, we knew it was going to be a great stay. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen well equipped and everything was clean and tidy. The location was in a great neighborhood with a disc golf course a short walk away. Next time we’re in Asheville, we hope to stay again!

A lovely quaint experience of soft colors, fabrics, textures and details. We felt wrapped in the charm of the Moroccan Cottage and overflowing gardens. Our feline ambassadors quelled our homesickness and allowed us morning and evening pets. While we didn't partake of the fire pit or tub, the gardens surrounding them made for memorable pics.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our 3-day stay at the Moroccan Cottage. Communication with Camille, the host was excellent. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated and well outfitted. It was very welcoming with a beautifully landscaped outdoor sitting/meditation area where we enjoyed our morning coffee. We would most definitely stay here again if in the Asheville area.

This property is like something out of a fairy tale. It was gorgeous and peaceful. I loved the outdoor space as well. Camille was the best host, super responsive and friendly. I will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay and the cottage was clean, quiet and beautifully maintained. There were a lot of restaurant options nearby and we appreciated the recommendations provided by the host. The pastries at OWL Bakery were delicious!

We planned a long weekend in Asheville some time ago and while my partner and I usually stay in a hotel, this lovely spot appeared while doing some window shopping on other places to stay and we just couldn’t resist its charm!It was so clean, well maintained, and very very charming. While we unfortunately had to cut our trip short by one night, we loved our stay!The host was also incredible generous with her communication and attentive to our needs as the some work was being done on the property. Her friendly, helpful, and responsive communication really allowed us to relax and take in a side of Asheville we hadn’t yet had the pleasure of seeing. We will most certainly be back!

warmly welcomed by host, Camille, and friendly felines... beauty surrounds from the moment you arrive with lovely gardens, roaming chickens and a pathway to the cottage which is super cozy and thoughtfully designed with an artist's sense of color, texture, light, and space...loved sleeping up in the loft. my sister and i had a great time. quiet neighborhood which seemed to be located within 15 min (by foot or car) of everywhere we decided to go (think good food, thrift stores (one with rescued animals onsite), downtown, metaphysical/crystal shops). hope to return to perhaps enjoy the fire pit area and out door bath some day... just lovely, a magical mermaid refuge...

Our stay was delightful in this artful cottage which has art and craftsmanship tucked in wherever you turn. The kitchen is compact but well equipped for snacks and simple meals.

Camille was a fantastic, patient, supportive, welcoming, and communicative host. She has such a lovely cottage. It was clean and had a calming atmosphere. The neighbor and his goat were also very nice. I highly recommend booking anything with Camille. She’s great! I will definitely be booking with her again.

A real homie place

Camille has put so much love and thought into this cottage, so that everywhere you look there are things that fit the adorable theme! We stayed here while visiting Biltmore, and the location was perfect for a short drive to the property. Communication with Camille was on point and easy…we will be staying again if we are back in the area!
