It is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the fantastic views of the estuary and the fabulous sunsets. Teignmouth has good rail connections to London, Birmingham and Manchester.

It is a traditional seaside town with Georgian architecture, a Victorian pier, promenade, lido, bowls, skate park, an award-winning children’s play park and crazy golf. The Pavilions has regular theatre and cinema performances as well as a comedy club, dance and children’s activities. There are regular music festivals throughout the year, including jazz and folk music, and there is an array of small independent shops and the Arts Quarter, with a range of art galleries, artisan and craft shops. Relax with a coffee, enjoy breakfast or lunch in one of the many bistros, or dine in one of the superb restaurants, many of which offer local, seasonal produce. There are also many takeaway venues.
