Modern 4 Bedroom Beach House: Ideal for Families & Long Stays

We loved our stay in this charming beach home! It was spotlessly clean; located in a quiet neighborhood very near Long Island Sound and great shoreline walks; well provisioned and furnished; and offered easy access to the Yale campus and museums as well as an array of interesting restaurants. Our contact, Tom, was a dream to work with: responsive, considerate and informative. We highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the greater New Haven area.

Our stay here was very pleasant. The home was clean & up to date. The neighborhood is a nice area. Easy access to everything. Not too far from the beach. The Host was very nice. Always responded in a timely manner. Checked in to see if more supplies were needed during the stay. Will highly recommend & return if needed.

Nice property in a good location for walking. Most places provide a booklet that says what to do with trash and recycle, where to put the laundry when we leave, where we might find a grocery store. We could not find replacement trash bags in the house. Not enough places to hang wet towels. Tom, the landlord, was very responsive.

Joined by our college aged children and a few of their friends, the open first floor plan was perfect. The homey living room by a large table for group meals by the kitchen allowed for quick and comfortable set up for meals; laptop work and study; and game playing. Many sleeping options was a plus. The spacious back space is great for outdoor activity. We gathered by the fire and had plenty of space for our door games (would prefer grass to the gravel).

My 3 siblings and I stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. The house was clean and well appointed. The weather was poor when we were there, so we stayed in, cooked for ourselves, played games, and reminisced, and the house was perfect for that.

Easy in and out and fast communication for any questions

Tom was a wonderful host with great communication and went out of the way to welcome us and cater to our needs. The house was clean and well equipped. There were some great games and bookshelves that we enjoyed exploring. The house strikes a nice balance between a too stark hotel room and an overly cluttered home. The luggage racks in the closet were a nice detail that is frequently overlooked!

Tom was very helpful during the checking in & checking out process. Place was beautiful as pictured & very clean. Brought a few friends over to loosen up before the semester kicks in! Definitely recommend.
