Modern 2 Bedroom 1 Bath Just Steps From The Au Train River

Loved being steps from the river and close to a mini village.

I didn’t really get to spend much time at the property. Booked for two days and had decided to only stay one so I could see Sault Ste Marie. But after checking property had some plumbing issues that could not be resolved that evening, so ended up sleeping in my camper. What I can review is the owner/manager. Super friendly and chatty. felt like long lost family! Moreover I asked for a refund of one night and she promptly refunded my payment. If you are looking for a quiet place to rest up I can highly recommend.

Very quiet and cozy little cabin right in the river. And very clean!

Perfect place to home base and explore from! A wonderful, welcoming, warm home to come back to after a day out! Centrally located to make it easy to venture out in any direction! Very comfortable, great internet, cabin has lots of personality. Only comments: wasn't clear how to access the kayaks on site, as it turns out was a little chilly for that anyway. I also never did find a hair dryer, but needed a new one at home so just bought one on our first day.

So since my stay last stay a year ago. I almost hate to leave such a good review because it's already booked for the summer. But they deserve it. WiFi is 00 better and they remodeled the bathroom which was already fine. I just can't say enough about how good this place is. The only thing that beats it is my time share in Florida. Keep up the great work. See more trips here in the future.

I love this little cabin. They've completely stocked it with anything you could need including food and coffee. Very rare to find a place that does that.

This stay is exactly what we needed! We came up to snowmobile & had a great time. Little cabin had everything we needed & was comfortable and felt homey. We will be back in the future, may need to use your larger cabin next time when we bring friends. Thanks again for the last minute spot!

Cindy went above and beyond to help make the best of a bad situation with the power going out during a snow storm, the cabin was great with fun games and everything we needed for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful and cozy cabin in a fantastic location, had a wonderful long weekend staying here! We absolutely loved staying here and already can’t wait to come back! Has a great view of the river, really nice porch, and very comfortable furniture. Super clean and cozy, would definitely stay here again!

It was OK, the coffee maker was inoperable but the host replaced it rapidly. The listing indicated a hair dryer but none was to be found. Bed size said Queen but it’s a full. Porch railing was wobbly but it was repaired before we left. It would be nice if cable TV was available.The host was very accommodating, she brought fresh towels and was friendly. The location probably does not have cable TV available. The internet did work very well.

The location is nicely placed between Marquette and Munising

Would not recommend. Check in time delayed one hour, not ready. Water turned off with no notice. Turned back on hours later to be told just run until clear( black mud ). Owner never introduced herself until returned to fine her dismantling and pulling maintenance on entire cottage porch from early afternoon until after 7 p.m. No privacy, drill noise which other cottage guests had to endure.Totally unacceptable . Four lamps not working. Would certainly not revisit or recommend. Did I mention this was our anniversary weekend get away???

We enjoyed our stay at the Robins Nest. Very clean and plenty of space. We liked looking out the window and seeing the Au Train river. Great area, we will be returning to the Robins Nest again.

The cabin was well stocked and we were able to kayak right out front. We had everything we needed and more.

It was great. Easy check in. Lovely location on the river. Amazing. The electric motion couch was so relaxing. Didnt need the air conditioner on, the river was with a nice breeze. Had a campfire. It was great.

I was not going to leave a review because it was just small things at first but by the end of the week, I had had enough. The main issue is that the outdoor space is SHARED, it says that no where in the listing and if other renters show up and take the space RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR FRONT WINDOW over, nothing will be done and you will just lose that amenity that you paid for…wild. We were given the wrong address from the jump so we couldn’t find our cabin and had to call the host. We walked in and every piece of furniture was different from the photos and there was not enough seating for everyone like we thought from the photos. There were dirty dishes IN the cabinets. The bed sheets were dirty, sandy before we laid down….all the little stuff wasn’t enough for us to say this place wasn’t worth it and leave a negative review but after our outdoor space was taken away by the other renters-they used it ALL DAY long, no refund to be offered and just a “I’m sorry” please do better, this was our one vacation of the year and half the week we had to leave the area to avoid the people in our front yard…left such a bad vibe over the vacation.

Loved the cabin. Just needed a place to stay and it was perfect location.

This cabin far exceeded our expectations. Spotless, plenty of towels and wash rags, seemingly endless hot water, and comfy beds. The kitchen had just about everything you could think of. The location was perfect for our home base as we explored the area. We'd recommend this adorable little cottage to anyone.

This was such a a cute little cabin and in such a nice place! It's in a nice little community and right by the river. The nearby town is quiet but friendly and it's a short drive to Muninsing. I will definitely consider staying here again next time we are in the area!

Enjoyed the peaceful cabin location! Was a quiet getaway, and near several sights we wanted to visit. Fully stocked with everything you need. Great WiFi. Will definitely return if we are in the area.

Such a nice little place. Beds and pillows were comfortable and so was the couch. Everything was very clean. I loved the view of the river, I could've sat on the porch forever! The cottages are all pretty close together but it was nice and quiet and worked out fine for us. It was nice to be able to bring our dog and we appreciate that the price was reasonable.

This was an excellent place to stay for what we wanted to do this weekend. The cabin was so clean and cute. The master has 1 bed the other room has a double bed bunkbed and a toddler bunkbed. The couch has a recliner on each end. I would stay here again. Definitely recliners. There were 5 abunkbed

My boyfriend and I, along with our pup, came up to the UP for Michigan Ice Fest and stayed at Cindy's cabin. It was quiet, comfortable, and cozy with a well-stocked kitchen and wonderful living and sleeping space. Cindy was kind enough to let us check-in early as well as check out a few hours after the scheduled checkout time, and was very quick to respond to all of my messages. We will definitely be back! Cannot recommend enough.

We enjoyed our time while visiting this breathtaking area of Michigan. Took my family waterfall hunting in the area so this was perfectly placed for all the ones close together. We got officially engaged at Scott's falls. Cabin was fully stocked with all necessary needs for cooking bathing and sleeping. You could go with nothing but clothes and a few groceries and be good for the weeknd. Thank you for the beautiful time, we will be back!

We had stayed in Au Train earlier this summer and all I could think about was bringing my kids back to see how beautiful it was. This little cabin was perfect for us, Cindy went above and beyond to make sure everything we might need was supplied, and she is just a sweet person who wants to open her cabin to families and people to enjoy the beauty the U.P. has to offer. My kids had a fantastic time ans we have already booked a week for next aummer! Im counting down the days! Also, my son looooooved the little bunk bed! Cutest thing ever! And I need to find out where the smazinf UP decor came from, i especially loved the license plate pictures. Thank you so much for the perfect little place to lay our heads, we appreciate it so much!

This cozy little cabin was perfect for our first stay in the UP! The host was very sweet and we felt well looked after. Loved that the cabin was off the Au Train river. We were able to just drop in our kayaks and go!

The cabin was a perfect place to rest and relax after a week of sightseeing. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We felt the property was very peaceful and we loved our time there.

Nice and quiet. Fire pit right on the river with plenty of stars to see.

Was a easy place for us to stay to see the upper peninsula.

Great location but the property wasn’t so great. The air conditioning unit was falling out of the window, it was taped up to the window using duck tape, which wasn’t really working. I called the property owner who said she knew it was like that. The shower and bathroom were dirty, tiny little gross hairs were in the shower and the towels and washcloths smelled musty .

My son and I had a great time. Good golf, good fishing. Great location

There is so much to do and see in the UP that you don’t have enough time.
