Stayed Jan 5, 2026The property felt like we had walked into a Rainforest magazine , with the most beautiful plants & flowers! Gigi went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and especially appreciated her helping us keep an eye on Mt Kilowea so we wouldn't miss the eruption!

Stayed Dec 20, 2025We had a wonderful stay in Gigi’s cottage! The space is beautiful and Gigi is meticulous in considering our every need. The cottage is quiet, peaceful and private…the perfect place to decompress and enjoy the Big Island. It is definitely on my “favorites” list now.

Stayed Aug 31, 2025This was literally a perfect place to stay. The location was perfect and provided easy access to the national park, which was good because Kīlauea erupted during my stay. Amazingly clean and the tranquility of the location cannot be beat.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025When we arrived at the cottage very close to Volcano National Park, we were blown away! The place far exceeded my expectations. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s over the last few years and this place was extremely clean, well stocked, and in tiptop shape. The surrounding gardens were unbelievable! The thought, detail, and hospitality, extended to my husband, and I went above and beyond. I strongly recommend staying at this cottage if given the chance! Aloha!

Stayed Jan 28, 2025Gigi’s cottage is the perfect spot for a couple to stay near the volcano. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful rainforest and manicured gardens with fun trails. The cottage itself is immaculately decorated and maintained. Clearly Gigi is an artist and her delight to the senses. Details and beauty that makes you smile are in abundance. I will return.
