Great holiday in a beautiful cottage. Friendly and helpful host. The cottage had everything you could possibly need for your holiday. Everything was spotlessly clean. Hot tub was great and very private. Close to a couple of nice beaches.

We had a lovely 3-night stay at the Linhay. The accomodation was as described in all marketing information and from the previous reviews and certainly had luxury touches to make us smile. The cottage and hot tub couldnt have been any better! The hosts were welcoming and communicative through out. If we plan to come back to Cornwall anytime then we'd certainly consider booking again.

We chose to return to East Trenean farm after a hectic few weeks to chill and recharge our batteries. Once again it was the perfect retreat as it was on our previous visit. The location is easy to find and access. We stayed at Linhay cottage which was spotless and very well equipped with great attention to detail. We spent two of our days not even leaving the farm as we just enjoyed the tranquility and surroundings. The hot tub was amazing and an added feel good factor. Graham and Jane are great hosts and are on hand to deal with your needs if necessary. Having said that we did not have any need to contact them as everything had been catered for. We are already looking at our next booking. If you are looking for a chilled and relaxing break you need look no further. We highly recommend a stay at East Trenean Farm. Dave & Louise Matthams

We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful cottage (Linhay). It is in a fabulous location with views across open county to the sea in the distance and well placed for exploring the lovely south Cornwall coastline. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped and perfect for two. Highly recommended.

Linhay is an absolute dream: the perfect home in a perfect location. The views from the garden are stunning where you feel at one with nature. It’s blissfully peaceful and a real haven to relax, unwind and be at one with yourselves. Inside the home, the attention to detail is second to none; the cleanliness is immaculate, the quality of items is exceptional and the space and feel generates real ambience. Jane and Graham are the perfect hosts - friendly, warm, welcoming and generous. The way they have made a beautiful home for guests is astounding and a huge congratulations to them. The welcome pack is an extremely loving touch that makes it all even more special. Thank you! We are sure to return soon.

Our second visit to Linhay and, if anything, it was even better than the first. House was immaculate on arrival and so comfortable & spacious. We enjoyed very hot & sunny weather so made good use of the garden, the shade of the trees and the hot tub, which is always very clean & well maintained. A lovely quiet & peaceful spot.

Everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. Very spacious and quiet. Lovely garden and hot tub. Perhaps a fleece blanket for the sofa or to use as summer weight bedding with a sheet would be a useful addition. Copley Arms, nearby, does excellent food with gluten free options suitable for coeliacs which was particularly helpful for us.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Linhay which is a lovely cottage for two people at East Trenean Farm which is a few miles outside Looe. Apart from being very spacious and comfortable it is the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in and the hot tub in the private garden is the icing on the cake! You will not be disappointed if you book.

Linhay certainly was a 5* property in every respect. Top quality furnishings & fittings, very comprehensively equipped & spotlessly clean on arrival. Nice to receive the items of local produce in the welcome pack. Lovely, peaceful outdoor space with beautiful views. The hot tub is well placed to enjoy the views, very private and well maintained throughout our stay. Graham & Jane were friendly hosts but not intrusive. It was lovely to explore this part of Cornwall, a first visit for us as we usually venture futher south into the county. We would have no hesitation in recommending Linhay to future guests.

The Linhay has everything a couple needs for a peaceful holiday, with friendly helpful owners on site, should you have any concerns or for the local knowledge. The hot tub was lovely and had amazing views of the unspoilt countryside and the beautiful gardens, there was always bird life to watch whether from the hot tub, patio or cottage windows. Good location close to Looe, taxi £14 ew saved the hassle of parking, in order to enjoy a few drinks and a good meal. The beaches at Seaton and Talland are worth a visit, both have toilets and refreshments available. We can certainly recommend a stay in this well equipped and VERY comfortable cottage and hope to come back. Thank you Graham & Jane PS the eggs were lovely

A perfect week in The Linhay Barn. An immaculate and extremely comfortable property, very well equipped, with a beautiful garden (& hot tub), and a fabulous view over the countryside. A great spot for a glass of wine in the evening or relaxing with a good book during the day. We found it difficult to go and about as we were so happy just to relax and soak up the peace and quiet. Loved watching some little birds (chiff-chaffs) flitting in and out of the shrubbery outside the bedroom in the mornings whilst having our early morning cuppa. Jane & Graham are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome. Looking forward to another visit already.
