Stayed Jun 25, 2025We fell in love with this property and wish we could have extended our stay for at least a few more days, but we had other plans to move on to. The beautiful home is set upon a hill with amazing views of the countryside. We were able to really disconnect, and traveled to some local places to sightsee within nature, and into town for some dinner (plenty of options in the neighboring villages). The house had everything possible that you could need, to feel comfortable and at home. Loved that you could have all the windows open to let in all the light and see the stunning views, or close the shades and get some restful sleep. You can also enjoy the hiking paths nearby or just sit and watch the adorable family of rabbits nibble at the grass and chase each other around, and cows grazing nearby. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back next time we’re in beautiful Northumberland!

Stayed Dec 20, 2024We had a wonderful time celebrating my 60th Birthday. Accomodation is beautiful, everything you could need. The beds were very comfortable and we were 3 couples who all have our own bedrroms with ensuite. We rake away lovely memories

Stayed Oct 15, 2024On top of a large hill, I think the cottage was originally for the staff who worked the farm that lies a little farther down the hill. The cottage is beautifully restored, comfortable, and has stunning views. Hexham is a wonderful town just a short drive away. We had no vehicle and used local taxis, which were easy to get. A convenient bus in Hexham took us to Roman forts and Hadrian’s wall. The hosts were very helpful.
