We enjoyed every bit of our stay.

The parking area is quite tight, could benefit from a bit more excavation. I wouldn't want to try to park a large SUV or Pickup there! Ideal location, it was very much what was advertised. One note, and this may be more oriented towards VRBO in general, but the fees for cleaning and processing seem rather exorbitant!

We had a great stay in Gloucester -as prior reviews noted, parking was a bit tight with a large vehicle but we were able to figure it out and a minor issue. The cottage was clean, comfortable, private-- a very sweet place to come home to after sunset at the nearby cove. Loved exploring Halibut Point, Gloucester, Rockport, etc. What a gorgeous spot!

This was a beautiful place to stay for a a birthday/anniversary trip! It was easy to get to and had off street parking. We were amazed by the cleanliness and coziness and had everything we needed! You can see the sea from the drive way, but not really from inside the cottage. The steps to the beach is really to a cove, we chose to drive less than 10 min to Good Harbor beach and it was amazing! Halibut State Park was about a 15 minute drive and had a nice and easy hiking to the water. If ever this far northeast again we will definitely rebook!

Don't hesitate to book this cottage. It is really charming and super clean! The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. The bed and sofa are both very comfortable. The location is quiet and close to everything. There are beach chairs available which made our trip down to the beach super nice. And you can sit on the porch to watch the stars or listen to the water feature. We can't wait to come back! Thank you for having us!

The cottage was a comfortable place to be while the ocean just down the block raged against the rocks and seawalls. The space met every need that arose: zone heating when I wanted to warm the bedroom loft but not the downstairs, shampoo & conditioner when I realized I'd forgotten mine, beach towels when I briefly considered going to the beach (but then stay in because some rain and cold wind started.) Even laundry detergent pods so I could do my laundry before I left. It was a quiet location. I liked that I didnt have to talk with anyone during artival or departure, so it was ok that I got in much later the first evening than I expected. Other reviews mention the need to be careful with parking. I can confirm that the garage and parking spot beside it will not accommodate really large cars, but I appreciated that there were still 2 spots because my partner and I had to arrive at different times in separate cars. All around good experience.

Property clean, very welcoming at first glance. All good except the king size bed in the loft has an inadequate bed frame that collapsed on me when I lay down on the bed and the mattress caved in the middle. Had to sleep on outer edge to avoid falling into the hole. The next night we slept on the pullout couch which was rough. The bed frame should be replaced. Otherwise would have give 5 stars but bed was unsleepable.

Cottage was adorable! Super clean annd comfortable! We had everything we needed! Great communication with owner who even found friends of our a place to stay right down the street! The only thing is parking is super tight if you have a bigger car, truck or SUV

My stay was just what I hoped for! Peace and quiet to read and write, but also to spend time outside, breathing in the ocean air, searching for sea glass, looking at the lighthouses, and enjoying the time.

We had a wonderful stay at this darling cottage. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you can imagine you would need. Bed was comfortable. There was a neighborhood turkey that was very entertaining. Thank you.

This property was perfect! It was clean, comfortable and cozy. It was 2 miles from our family and we enjoyed being close to the water and town as well. The bed was comfortable, which isn't often the case in a rental. We didn't want to leave!

Very clean and quiet. Perfect for a two night stay. TV system was a bit challenging to navigate but we figured it out. Good location close to the beach and great seafood nearby.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous inside and out with little pond with frogs and fountain. Soo peaceful! Everything you could imagine inside! Everything you needed superb and top notch!

Relaxing, easy. It's nice to be able to walk to Plum Cove Beach for a dip. Had two nice meals at the Lobster Pool, two good hikes at Halibut Point (both are nearby), and explored three other local beaches. The kitchen was also well-supplied for basic cooking (spices, olive oil, etc.). Two words of caution: 1) the spiral staircase to the bedroom/loft is slippery and potentially hazardous. And 2) if you're interested in using local beaches, download the parking app and book your spots asap. We were shut out of Wingershaek (sp?), Crane's, and Good Harbor. All said, we'd definitely come again. :)

Everything was perfect. Relaxing get-away, close enough to beaches shops and restaurants, in a quiet location, with beautiful sunsets, just steps away. Can't wait to return.
