Stayed Jun 26, 2018Can't give enough stars to this gem and for Lynne the owner. This a charming, immaculately maintained, reasonably updated family cottage nestled in a nice little neighborhood on Scituate Harbor. Perfect for up to two to three adults (or in our case an adult and two older teens). Walking/biking distance to multiple beaches (harbor is literally at the end of the street), the lighthouse and to town with delightful ocean breezes at night (there is no A/C, so it does get warm inside during humid summer days, but not necessary on most nights really). Back deck and nicely landscaped yard are great for grilling dinner or late afternoon book reading in the shade -- actual bonus usable space that makes the place seem a lot bigger. Lynne the owner is super nice, conscientious, available and attentive -- an absolute pleasure. If you are looking for a quick beach getaway without little kids, Lynne's family cottage has just about all you need. We were there for almost three weeks and HIGHLY recommend!!!

Stayed Aug 6, 2017Clean and roomy near the beach in Situate. Everything went well. Good internet. Poor cell service in the area (Verizon)
