Peace and quiet and a little slice of heaven on a Christmas tree farm. Sit by the pond and enjoy the firepit while listening to nature or walk around the farm roads for a little relaxation. Boone NC is only 30 minutes away to enjoy special events or shopping downtown. Lots of hiking trails nearby and a few on the farm. Check out An Appalachian Summer Festival at www.appsummer.org to find upcoming events to enjoy while staying in Little Red's Cottage. Check out the many events planned throughout the summer and fall in Blowing Rock, Beech Mountain, Seven Devils, Banner Elk, Jefferson and West Jefferson. These are some of the nearby NC mountain towns to visit. And just a short drive away you can visit Elizabethton, Johnson City or Mountain City TN. So much to see and do in our beautiful mountains throughout the year. You can water ski on Watauga Lake or snow ski at Appalachian Ski Mountain or Beech Mountain. Come spend a week but not a fortune at Little Red's Cottage while enjoying all the mountains have to offer.

Perfect
House was just right for the 4 of us. Reminded me of home. We will definitely stay again.
Great little place tucked away in the mountains bordered by farm land. The location was close to Boone, Valle Crucis, and Blowing Rock. The cabin itself is surrounded by trees making it feel secluded. Everything you need but food. A quiet respite after a long day of hiking.
Exactly what we expected, and perfect for what we needed. Thank you so much for having us!
Great stay. Place secluded and immerse in nature. Only negative thing dogs barking day and night.
Absolutely beautiful location. The scenery was amazing especially in the evening. The evening and night sky will make anyone's trip worth it. The cabin is perfect size for a solo trip or a romantic getaway. Very clean and supplied with everything but food. This place goes in my top 5. I loved every second of it
The property is an absolute gem for those looking for an oasis in the mountains. The property is exceptionally maintained and has all the conveniences that one (really) needs to be comfortable while in the mountains. Above anything I want to highlight that communication with the host Diane is A+++. She was always responsive and kind (not to mention very accomodating to me and my circus) when I reached out to her during our stay. The only recommendation I have is for any future travellers, if you are not comfortable driving twisty mountain roads in the dark be sure to give yourself enough time to arrive when it's light or drive with care. The roads are thin and have lots of curves and there is wildlife in abundance in the area. Boone is a 20 - 30 minute drive but beautiful to do (especially in the mornings when the roads are less busy and the mist is hanging in the valleys). I will definitely be keeping this property along with the other property the host owns on my list for a return stay (albeit on my own next time and on an actual vacation). Thank you again Diane!!!
