Perfect getaway for a couple! Close to the water (we loved that you could only see water over the deck from living room area). Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed the sounds of Cranes, ducks and other birds all day long. Super clean! Hosts were over the top accommodating for us! Great cooking space, close to markets, stores and some awesome hiking trails at Pokagon State Park. Great value-very impressed. Didn’t even have to think of anything less than 5 stars!!!

This was the perfect place for a little mom retreat. I spent my stay hiking in the state park and reading by the fire. The home is beautiful, clean, and has all the basic amenities needed. This was a great experience.

The house and hosts are better than advertised. The lake is beautiful and quiet and the views are serene.

Beautiful lake cottage-very quiet, peaceful area yet close to amenities(Starbucks, Walmart-4miles). This was a lovey location to visit with family and friends!

Little Otter Retreat was beautiful and very peaceful. It’s in a great location. Sitting outside on the big deck overlooking the lake was our favorite part. This place was the perfect size for two people and felt very clean and comfortable. Dave was very responsive and accommodating.

The Pannings are gracious hosts, making sure that all our needs were met! The Little Otter Retreat is very clean and comfortable! Kay and I had a wonderfully relaxing time!

The lake/views were very relaxing. The cottage was adorable and we enjoyed our time together for our 30th anniversary.

The cabin has new features, clean, and extremely close to the water, which we loved. Having lake access and using their row boat and kayaks were a blast. The lake is small but has great charm and is connected to 5 different lakes. We loved visiting the Pokagon State Park and walking to the beach and hiking trails. Tom's Donuts was a pleasant stop for a quick snack. Dave and Tammy were outstanding hosts and extremely friendly and accommodating. Thank you for an amazing stay!

What a lovely home, looks exactly like the pictures. Everything very clean and well appointed. Communication excellent. Nice and quiet. Beautiful view. Will look forward to returning!

My husband and I wanted a cabin near Pokagon State Park. This cottage was perfect for us; one bedroom, very clean, close to the park (rode our bikes there) and nice view of a lake. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed our time hiking and biking and recommend staying at this place.

I booked this for a work trip, and somehow it still felt like a vacation reset when I left! The cabin is lovely, cozy, and so clean. The hosts were wonderful! We saw otters, caught baby turtles, rowed the boat and took in the views. Thank you for a wonderful trip, Little Otter Retreat!

Words can’t describe the relaxing experience, the home the view is fantastically beautiful and peaceful tranquility. The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming. We were celebrating our anniversary and couldn’t have picked a better place.
