Stayed Jun 22, 2024So close to the sea. Lots of spiders. Limited parking if you had a big car, you would have to pay for parking. All the beds are single beds. The amenities are dated, with aluminum cooking pots and yucky cutlery.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful thatched cottage with tonnes of character and charm Don't expect modern style - but loads of charm! However there is actually everything that you need for a family holiday - decent washing machine, microwave, double oven, fridge freezer, smart TV, WiFi etc. Bathroom is lovely and light with classic pink art deco bath etc which is so much fun for the kids. The two bedrooms are really sweet with their vaulted roof trusses on show and tiny low down windows. You need to be fairly agile to get up and down the steep stairs as there is a very low beam to navigate but again it all adds to the fun. The sea view from the kitchen/dining room is stunning - a perfect framed view (and sounds) of the waves crashing on the rocks out at sea is utterly charming. The garden areas wrap around three sides of this beautiful thatched cottage with ample gates to stop small kids roaming away and actually very private. Would only say that it could do with more lawn areas as mostly natural stone
