Townville, South Carolina
This lake place has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths (2 bedrooms with a private bath) and sleeps 10 people comfortably. It has a large screened porch overlooking the dock and boat ramp. Camp Creek is right off of the Seneca River, and is a deep water channel. The path to the lake is a gentle slope. There is also a private boat ramp available for use by the renters only. The home is situated on a quiet street with ample parking and a covered double carport. The property is 5 minutes off of I-85. It is 15 minutes from Clemson Blvd. in Anderson, SC. Clemson Boulevard has a mall, major department stores and a wide variety of restaurants. C

The property was great location to easily get to Clemson and had plenty of room for our 2 families with beautiful view right on the water! The owner was super kind and helpful and he’s actually updated the home a lot that the pics don’t show yet! Nice new flooring and bedding, etc. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay!
The property was clean, nice view of the lake, outside was very sloped down to the water, nice fire pit adjacent to the house, gas fireplace that we did not use and screen porch overlooking the lake. The bedrooms were spacey and very comfortable and individual baths were great. The owner checked in to make sure that everything was as expected and was very, very nice. Only non-positive thing that I can say is that the Tigers lost to the Gamecocks on Saturday.....bummer!
Overall the property was nice and delivered on expectations. We thought it was a a little over-priced given the time of year when we could not enjoy the lake. Some minor nitpicking: There was a clog in the masterbath which created a slippery shower. We also noticed several dead roachs in kitchen. This is why the cleanliness rating was only two stars. Overall the property was clean. We had some difficulty getting into the rental (NOTE: This was due to my own error NOT the owner.), but we had challenges connecting with the property manager to answer questions.
We used the house for a Clemson game. It was perfect. I would recommend staying there.
I rarely leave reviews but I have to comment on this property. We had a great stay! The property was clean and larger than I expected. The kitchen had everything we needed and the view of the lake was gorgeous. The owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I highly recommend! We will definitely be staying again.
House was nice but ran out of propane for the gas grill and spares were empty also. Lots of cob webs on dock and outside furniture needed a good cleaning. Otherwise was a great location on the lake, close to major interstate and would stay there again.
Me, my son, and his fishing partner stayed for the week for the Bassmaster high school National fishing tournament. It was great to have the space to rig our tackle and relax after 10 hours on the water.
Had everything you need for your lake house experience. Very nice dock for your boat and quite location
The house and property were exactly as described. (Actually, better than the photos.) The home is older, but clean and we had everything we needed. Nice bedrooms and baths. The owner, Mr. Wiley, stopped by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The house is conveniently located off Exit 11. It is close to gas stations and grocery stores. Having your own boat ramp was a plus. The boat slip is covered, so the dock does receive some shade. Camp Creek/Seneca River is a lovely area and you are close to Cemetery Island and a short boat ride to Portman Marina. We had a very relaxing weekend.
Nothing to take away form the serenity of the lake. Very comfortable. Evrything we needed worked. We used the grill but didn't need the fire pit in all the heat.
Nice property on lake, pretty view,
