Rebecca and Sean went above and beyond in communicating with us before and during our stay. The cottage was very cute, better than the pictures even. There are stairs from the outside back deck, down to the grass/pier/water, with a gate at the top of the stairs for dogs/kids. The Collins family provided so many toiletries and comforts that other rentals normally do not, like propane tanks, wood, lots of pillows/blankets/sheets/towels, coffee, kayak. There is a beautiful sandy public beach on Lake Michigan about 8 min away, free parking, not crowded, and the water was just perfect! The king bed is pretty soft, but the queen and double were firm and comfortable. Overall, we had a good time. Thanks!
Awesome property great lake access. Super clean. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a cottage to stay in. Will be booking another longer stay soon.
We Really enjoyed renting this cottage!! Everything was just as it was stated in the listing. The host was very responsive to our questions and we had everything we needed. We loved all the windows looking out to the lake as well as the outdoor deck area that also had baby gates at the stairs~ which we used for our dog. The dock is in perfect shape and we had plenty of room for a speed boat and Jetski. I would definitely recommend this cottage. you would want to keep in mind there is somewhat limited parking-Especially if you bring a boat and Jetski; or any other water toys you may have to consider alternative parking arrangements for those trailers... we had a friend that lived nearby so we were able to utilize his space at his house. Also , the launch was two doors from the cottage, but there is no dock so just keep that in mind as well. Lisa and Fred P. Haslett, Mi
We had such a great time at the house! Location was great and the view was amazing! We brought our own boat and docked it at the house. It was a beautiful getaway for our family. Only trying part was 7 people to 1 bathroom, but we made it work.
Enjoyed our family stay and will book again.
Bring a boat
Would definatly stay again!
We kayaked with our two kayaks snd the one at the cottage. We did not swim as the entry was murky snd Rocky somewhat . Although one daughter jumped in after a run fir a quick dip
We enjoyed our weekend. The cottage was very nice and clean. Visited South Haven and St. Joseph. Also went to Cranes Apple Orchard and winery in Fenneville for lunch. Did a little fishing and enjoyed a few movies. Highly recommend it. Overall the hosts were great and we had everything we needed at cottage.
Perfect getaway! I would definitely stay again.
