We thought the area/location and property were wonderful. The owners were very communicative, friendly, and helpful. The cabin and property were both very clean and well-maintained. What a peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing place to enjoy, with our pup included!

Extremely clean with all the basic amenities as described in VRBO. Host was friendly and spent the time to ensure we were familiarized with how everything worked and where everything was located to help ensure our stay was comfortable. There was only one beach lounge chair but plenty of seats otherwise. We especially loved the privacy of the deck seating and table for meals. Lake and sunset views were stunning. Bald eagle (too stealthy to snap a photo of) was a unexpected delight to see especially in the Lower Peninsula. A special place indeed.

The A frame is beautiful and the outdoor shower is refreshing and in a great location. It is wonderful to sit and read or enjoy a cip of coffee in the beautiful surroundings.

The only thing that holds a candle to this property are the hosts. Upon arrival we were met for a brief orientation which turned out to be incredibly helpful due of the hidden nuances in this quaint little Bavarian style A-frame. They’ve managed to squeeze in everything you could need during your stay. We were expecting the lakefront property and deck to enjoy, but what we weren’t expecting were the fascinating tales from the owner who literally built everything on the property by hand. Hearing about the thoughtfulness behind every hand-placed stone provided charm and overall good vibes. Make sure to check out the church down the road that they are caretakers of to see more history of the community. It’s no wonder why this spot is quick to fill up. We’ll be rebooking, no doubt about it.

My husband and I had an excellent stay at this adorable beach house along the beautiful tunnel of trees. The hosts were very kind and accommodating and the property is just gorgeous. I absolutely would stay here again.

Beautiful, secluded beach location! Perfect get away!

This is our second year coming to this gem of a vacation spot. There are really no words or photos that can justly describe this place and the view it offers.Whether you are sitting on the deck or down on the beach you are able to see the magnificent sunsets, hear the crashing of the waves onto the beach, watch seagulls perched on one of the many boulders along the beach and at times just listen to nature. It’s something you would have to experience for yourself. The owners are so friendly and I love hearing their many stories about how together they have created this beautiful vacation spot. I highly recommend this beach cottage for two, in our case, but first give us time to book our week for next year. Lol Thanks Stephanie and Richard for sharing your special spot.

A tiny house before there was such a thing as a tiny house the A-frame was built with care and honors the natural surrounding beauty. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

We enjoyed our stay! The Guyors are delightful! Their property is so special with so many unique touches… truly magical! The beach is beautiful! We loved being able to hear the waves inside the A-Frame at night. The A-frame is adorable and has so much character! We loved hanging out on the deck and enjoying our surroundings. We plan to visit again!

We couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay. The owners were so kind and helpful. The cabin was beautiful and the location was perfect. We will definitely be staying again!!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, safe place to get away from it all and walk the beach & watch beautiful sunsets, this is the perfect place. Yet still close enough to Mackinaw and Petoskey for day trips.
