Lake Escape~Tranquility sleeps 8+ in Tallahassee

We went for our daughters graduation from FSU and we were extremely happy with the house and accommodations. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful home on a beautiful lake. Boys loved fishing from the dock. The house has everything you need to make great meals. They even had a popcorn maker! Great grilling area and the screened in porch was awesome! Great house to rent!

Clean and comfortable house with plenty of room for long weekend with friends. Would recommend and the owners were very professional and quick with their communications and responses.

Family weekend at college is always hectic and busy. We wanted a house away from the hustle and bustle. And we got that and so much more! Thirty minutes from campus, this lovely home allowed us to get back to campus when we needed and also provided the relaxing escape we were looking for. The home is well appointed and the view cannot be beat. That lake at any time of day is simply gorgeous. Kimberly is a super hostess who checked on us frequently and was available for any question we might have had. As my son is a freshman we hope to be back there for at least three more years.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay! We were gathering with family for an early Thanksgiving vacation. Many of our family members love to fish and we had the ability to rent their pontoon boat while staying there. The owner/host was always quick to respond to our questions prior to us booking as well as meeting our needs while we were there. They even decorated a bit to make it more festive for us. We would highly recommend this place and hope to visit again soon! Thankful for the memories made there and the owner's/host's thoughtfulness.

This property is a MUST see and a MUST stay! Very tastefully decorated and well thought out to maximize every bit of space in this quaint lake house. Extremely clean inside. Located at the very edge of Lake Talquin, the view is incredible and worth every bit of the rental! The gourmet kitchen is very well equipped not lacking for anything. The screened in porch is amazing to enjoy with morning coffee as you watch the sunrise, as well as, sip your wine while watching the sun set! This property has incredible warmth that feels like home when walking in and is perfect for entertaining and conversation. We stayed at the property for our daughter’s FSU graduation and it added to a wonderful celebration. The property would be ideal for game day weekends in lieu of crowded hotels as well as just a great place to escape when visiting the city. Fishing right off the dock on the property! You may even choose to rent the owner’s boat which is conveniently located in its own slip on the property to enjoy the beauty of the entire lake! Property owner’s communication pre, during, and post stay were incredible with genuine sincerity to ensure you have a great stay. Highly recommend this property!

The house was beautiful. New kitchen is so spacious and filled with anything you would need to cook for family and friends. The back porch was so peaceful, frig on back porch for cold drinks, screened in so no bugs. I spent alot of time doing my daily devotionals in this cool, peaceful spot with a full view of the lake. The boat and dock were great. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Plenty of room for teenagers and adults to play games, read or just enjoying the house. This is a perfect house for a mini vacation 30 minutes from Tall. Would highly recommend this house for your next destination. The owner was a text away. Great 4th of July with lots of fireworks from everyone around the lake viewed from our dock. Praying Kimberly continues to be successful at keeping this little jewel booked.

My family and I had a fantastic weekend at this lake house. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and a 1 year old. The view is incredible and the screened porch is great for dinners. It's about a 30 min drive to town if you want to eat out but we mainly stayed at the house and cooked. The kitchen is fully stocked and a grill outside. We fished and kayaked all weekend. We weren't lucky in catching anything but had fun nonetheless. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a getaway.
