Lac Vieux Desert Cottage

Great spot! Love being on the water with TWO available docks!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. We put our boat in at the landing a couple miles away and were able to leave our boat tied up right outside the cabin. It was quiet and neighbors were friendly. The cabin is very well maintained along with the property. We hope to be back next year.

We've stayed here before. Cabin was clean and comfortable as always. Weather was a wild mix of cold, rainy, windy, sunny, warm, and dead calm. Pretty normal for Wisconsin in the fall. Enjoyed the quiet and caught a few fish.

This was our 2nd time staying at the cabin and juat like the first, everything was flawless and perfect! The cabin was well maintained and clean, the check-in/out process simple smooth. The area is beautiful and close to alot of things we enjoy. The neighbors that are close by are extremely friendly. Overall it was a perfect escape to the north woods!

We loved the cabin - well-equipped and comfortabe with beautiful views! We especially appreciated the dock set-up; it accommodated our 20' pontoon with ease. It was a great place to relax after fishing.

Amazing place. Super clean and updated. Location is awesome. The owners happened to be in the place just up the hill when we arrived. They introduced themselves and made sure we felt at home. The neighbor and his dogs made sure to say hi. Very welcoming group. Our 2 kids loved their space with the bunk beds. The living room is spacious and comfy. Kitchen outfitted with everything we needed and more. The deck was perfect for morning coffees and evening cocktails. We don't fish hard, but found a good mix of panfish for our freezer. Handful of walleye, pike and bass, also. The lake is beautiful. Hoping to return.

Beautiful Cabin on LVD. Close to Phelps and Land O Lakes. Clean and a nice beach for swimming. Plenty of boat docking space. We had a wonderful stay.

Honestly, this is the best cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was updated and beautiful. The setting was serene, quiet, and had a wonderful lake view. Very attentive & friendly host! We did not lack for anything, and we were very lucky, to view the northern lights right outside of our door, shining over the lake! ?

This was a perfect spot for our long weekend getaway. Very clean comfortable cabin with everything that we needed. Great location on the lake. Thanks for having bumpers on your dock and poles to tie up our boat. Most places do not consider that. The fishing was really good and a nice fire pit to come back to after fishing all day to enjoy the evening. We would love to come back. We had a great time there.

Beautiful and comfortable cottage on a beautiful and relaxing property. Enjoyed fishing off the pier, kayaking (sit on top kayaks), and slept wonderfully. Even able to capture some photos of the northern lights. Would gladly return in the future.

We've stayed in this cabin before and it is always well kept. Enjoyed a week of incredible weather, very good fishing, a nice campfire, and peace. Not to mention good food and a cocktail or two. Highly recommend this place for a couple or a small family.

This waterfront cabin was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for . The owner , Jason could mot have been a better host . From the directions for arrival to accommodating us with a late check out on a special occasion, Jason made sure our stay was fabulous . The cabin is super clean and cozy . It is equipped with all the basics and a complimentary bottle of wine which was a nice surprise . The view out the dining room window is breathtaking . There is a bonus fish shack where you can clean your catch of the day! We will definitely be back.

Owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. They answered all questions and provided great places to eat. They also gave helpful information about the lake and fishing spots. The cabin itself was clean, furnished nicely and comfy for a relaxing stay. Kitchen had all things needed and then some. Peaceful and quiet. It was a wonderful week and we will definitely return.

This place offered everything we needed. Peaceful setting, wildlife, nice size lake, dock and lake area to float in, and short drives to daily excursions and shopping. Me and my two daughters had an amazing time playing in the lake, exploring Bond Falls which is close by, shopping and photographing the amazing sunsets. The property was very clean and had great parking. It was the perfect size for the 3 od us and we would have had room for my son as well. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the hosts responded very quickly. Both my daughters agreed our stay was too short and can’t wait to go back.

Cabin was very comfortable and clean. Great view of the lake, with access to the water from beach or pier. We had a nice time canoeing on the lake and doing some casual fishing from the pier. The location is an easy drive to Eagle River and Land o Lakes for groceries, restaurants, etc. Also accessible to Bond Falls (UP MI), Blackjack Springs (Phelps), and Porcupine Mountains for hiking. Cute little cottage - enjoyed our stay. The only thing I missed in the listing is that bath towels are not provided, so we had to go out and buy some. For the rate charged that should be included. But other than that they have everything you need. Location was great, dock for our boat, close to many amenities.
