Konrad Cottages - Beach Cottage

Beautiful location and very quiet. Ray was very hospitable and the cottage was very clean. We really enjoyed our cozy nights in front of the fire.

Had a wonderful stay at Konrad Cottages with our family. Such a beautiful and relaxing place to soak in the panoramic views, watch whales swim by, do some fishing and crabbing, and play in the water. The cottage is homey and comfortable with a very attentive and caring host. We hope to come back again sometime.

The location was fantastic! The cottage was what I expected, dated, cozy, but well equipped. We did have to wait an hour past check-in because it was still being cleaned which was somewhat annoying considering check-in was at 4pm. I would stay there again.

Ray was an amazing host! The house is on a beautiful beach and is very comfortable, like being at home! We didn't want to leave and will be back one day!

The location and views were awesome at this property! A detailed instruction manual would have been helpful instead of trying to remember everything the host informed us of upon check in. Additional kitchen amenities such as tin foil, cling wrap, scissors and few basic spices would have been appreciated. The main entrance door could be replaced to help insulate and secure the accommodation.

Our small family and two dogs spent a weekend on the beach front. The house was able to comfortably accommodate both play and lounging without feeling on top of each other. The host, Ray, was very helpful and communicative while problem solving a hiccup in our arrival. This stay included everything we could want and we hope to come back soon!

Beautiful location. Right on the beach.

What a great location. So enjoyed it. This is an older cottage with all the quirks associated with it, but it is clean and well suited for a couple or a family. The host is so friendly and accommodating. This feels very remote, but it is relatively close to Sechelt so shopping for food or going to out to meals is not difficult. Would definitely stay again - hope to do so soon.

We had a lovely two night stay at this cabin. Ray was a fantastic host and the view is spectacular! Even though it was a grey winter weekend, the wood fireplace was cozy, and the cabin clean and extremely comfortable. I will be back for sure!!

Really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The hottub and fireplace were really nice and made the place extra cozy. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. Ray was very responsive and active. He phoned me directly to let me know that we could do a later check-out if we wanted to. but then later phoned me to let me know this was no longer available due to a back-to-back booking. Communication was really great. Only negative feedback is that the sheets in the master bedroom had a faint scent to them. Not sure if they were not washed or just had some remaining odor from the previous guest

Easy access to the shoreline directly across from the cottage with seating at the high tide mark. Fire pit and lots of supplied fire wood. Hot tub was comfortable. Inside could use a bit of work but was not at all disturbing. The kitchen was as well supplied as anyones home kitchen. What the kitchen could have had is cooking oil along with

Lovely location right on the beach, enough room for 4 adults and 2 children, hot tube was a big hit, fire on the beach was perfect, and great September weather on the Sunshine Coast. Would have been 100% if there was 2 bathrooms with the 2 grandchildren it was busy room with baths and everything but we knew that before we booked.

Its a lovely cabin in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. Right on the beach, quiet location, lovely garden. The view is amazing!

Ray was a lovely host: prompt to reply to messages, flexible when we realize we had booked the wrong dates, and welcoming when we arrived. The cottage was cosy and homey and spotlessly clean. The location was simply magical. We had the beach to ourselves almost all the time, and our dogs had a great time exploring. In less than 24 hours, we saw a river, otter, catching and eating fish, and then denning under an old Douglas fir, a doe and two newborn fawns nursing on the beach, Eagles, mergansers, crows using the rocks to smash clams, seals, and much more. We will definitely come back. Thanks again, Ray!
