The cottage is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. It's very dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden. It's in a good location, close to local amenities and the wonderful Kirroughtree Forest Park. We'll be back for our third stay next year. It's worth noting the best access road is up in front of the Kirroughtree House Hotel and not straight up through the Conifer Lodges past Auchendoon, as that particular road has large potholes that are difficult to navigate without bumping the underside of your car. Via the hotel is a smooth ride.Overall, a great place.

Myself and my wife booked this cottage as I was competing in a mountain bike event nearby. The cottage was perfect for our needs with large modern bright rooms and ample space. The garden looked very well kept with patio doors leading onto it. The parking itself was ideal with a courtyard immediately outside, just make sure you have checked the exact location first as the last 100m or so are on a narrow gravel road which isn't the obvious way if you haven't checked it out first.I would definitely stay here again.
