Kirkby House is a delightful semi-detached cottage located alongside the harbour in the town of Whitby, and the North York Moors and Coast. With three bedrooms, including one double, a single and a twin, this cottage can sleep five people. The rest of the cottage includes a bathroom, a cloakroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room. Outside, there is roadside parking available on a first come, first served basis, and an enclosed courtyard garden. Kirkby House is ideally-situated to enjoy all of the delights of this fantastic seaside town, and the surrounding beauty of the North York Moors National Park. Sorry no pets and no smoking.

One free allocated parking space available nearby and additional parking on The Ropery and Church Street on a first served basis. Large decking area with furniture and BBQ to the side of the property (accessed from the outside). Sorry no smoking. The nearest pub is only 2 min walk away and the shops 5 min away. There is a Co-Op on the other side of the river approx 10 min away. Beach 10 mins walk. Note: This property is accessed by a cobbled slope and 15 steps down from The Ropery or 48 steps up from Church Street. Note: The cottage is in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours if you are sitting out at night and keep the noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: Whitby in North Yorkshire remains one of the regions most popular tourist hotspots, and with good reason. The town is at the mouth of the River Esk, and this old fishing port retains mush character in its winding streets and hidden alleys. There is a picturesque harbour, sandy beach and the famous Whitby Abbey. Close to other seaside destinations such as Scarborough, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby is also ideally placed for heading inland and exploring the beautiful countryside of the North York Moors National Park.
