What a house, what a location! We had a lovely two week stay at Kipper cottage and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The house was extremely comfortable and well equipped and the gardens leading to the creek were very special indeed. Loved it.

Well appointed cottage in a tranquil location. In the right weather, the little chalet by the creek would be a real bonus.

Our week at Kipper Cottage in Wootton Bridge was nothing short of idyllic. Nestled beside a peaceful sea inlet, the location is a true gem—perfect for morning coffees with a view and evening strolls to the water’s edge. The surrounding area is quiet and picturesque, offering a restful escape from the bustle of everyday life. The accommodation itself was stunning. Thoughtfully decorated with a coastal charm, the cottage felt both luxurious and homely. Every detail—from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen—spoke of comfort and care. The garden house was an unexpected delight, providing a serene spot to read, relax, or simply soak in the tranquility of the setting. However, our experience was marred by disappointing customer service from Island Holiday Homes. Despite the cottage being advertised as dog-friendly, we were charged an additional £30 for dog hair found after our stay—a frustrating and unexpected fee. To add to this, our first full day was disrupted by a washing machine engineer who arrived late, followed by a gardener trimming hedges for half the day later in the week. These interruptions detracted from the peaceful experience we had hoped for. In summary, Kipper Cottage is a beautiful haven in an exceptional location, perfect for a restful getaway. But be aware that the management company may not match the quality of the accommodation itself.

This cottage was clean and well equipped; the patio furniture on the decking was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the estuary. We put our own chairs on the lawn and enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere of the garden. There was also the added bonus of a Red Squirrel visiting every day which is not a site we normally get to see anymore. The added bonus of this cottage was the the Summer House with a Jetty, where we spent many hours relaxing and watching the activity on the water.

A good venue for two adults of advancing years or a family with two young children otherwise it might be a little tight in accommodation and facilities

When red squirrels run around albeit shyly in the lovely grounds what else do you need. Time seems to slow in this lovely part of the IoW measured only be the changing tides. The garden is beautifully presented with a winding path down to the summerhouse and jetty - steep in places for those of us physically challenged but manageable with benches en route. Estuary has enough traffic to keep you interested but not enough to annoy. Cottage is well laid out and comfortably furnished- lovely comfortable bed. No dishwasher but everything else you need. Wi-Fi code wrong in notes but easily available on bt box pullout. If you watch telly then batteries needed for handset. A great stay.

A fabulous cottage. We were delighted with the location, and how well equipped the cottage was. The cabin by the creek was lovely and also a surprise as to how well it was equipped. We had planned to use this as a base whilst visiting places around the island, but cut some trips out so we could send more time in the cottage, garden and cabin.

Peaceful location, beautiful views from the house of boats and the tide coming in and going out, red squirrels in garden. Well designed property and extremely tastefully decorated.
