Kemp & Olive Cottage: Tiny Cottage for Two Guests and Pups!

Very cute clean cottage. In a convenient area to beaches, stores, and restaurants. Bed was somewhat uncomfortable and slopped to your head, instead of your feet. Dryer didn’t work well at all. Ran out of toilet paper in one day.

The place is perfect. Very close to the beach and just a wonderful little place. We want to go back

The bungalow is nicely appointed. It is clean and offered us what we needed. The fact it sits right on Route 12, please note if you’re a light sleeper the traffic may be a nuisance. Take earplugs. It is nicely located for so many places to eat, state parks, lighthouses, and more.

Perfect for 2 people and plenty of room for our medium sized dog. Very convenient area and 5 minute walk to the beach. We will definitely be back.

The cottage was clean and very nice for two people. Enough room to relax and stay a while. However, the weather was perfect for open windows and such. Only one front window and the bathroom window has a screen. The front door was lacking a screen door even though it's advertised in the listing and even describes the ocean air coming in through the front door as the screen shuts behind you. The little courtyard between the cottages was nice have but the string lights in the picture of the courtyard were absent. The outside shower didn't work. When doing laundry the dryer took literally all day to dry clothes. I found the outside vent behind the cottage/laundry room was choked with lint. I pulled the wildlife guard off and removed a ton of lint myself. The t.v. seemed to be on the fritz and when I reached out to Amy the only response I got back was a thank you for reaching out to me reply. Never offered to come by and see what the problem was. Other than that, being by the beach was great. The public access was less than a minute away..

We had a lovely time. Close access to beach, had both our dogs with us and the proximity was close to all the fun things in the area.

We absolutely loved this cottage! It was exactly as pictured and perfect for our stay. The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. The best part, it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach!Communication with the host was also top notch. Cleaniness was great as well.

This one room cottage is cute and in a great location with close beach access. Storage is limited so pack lightly, but the sitting area has seating options and the kitchen has all the basics. For my husband and I and our rescue hound it was a great space to crash after exploring the outer banks and chillin' on the beach.

This little house is cozy and comfortable. Husband likes the table and chairs for early morning writing. The mini split heat/ac was perfect for taking off the chill in the air. Owner was responsive and available. The beach is beautiful right across the street.

We spent several amazing nights here and absolutely loved it. The space was clean and very comfy. For two people with or without a dog, it was perfect!

We absolutely loved it!! Never stayed that long anywhere and still didn’t want to leave. Rugger loved the freedom on the beach and Jimmy the handyman. Hoping the slamming screen door will be working next visit!

My husband, little dog, Sparky and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Our cottage was beautiful and very comfortable. Our host was very accommodating and had great communication. I would highly recommend.

This property is fantastic. Exactly as advertised a small cottage just across the street from the beach. Full well appointed kitchen, small eating table, and a nice roomy sitting area. Great for two adults and a couple of dogs.

We stayed for one week at the cottage with our little chihuahua Agave. It was great! The cottage is perfect for 2 people. Ideal Location-Very short walk to the beach. Close to restaurants and shopping. We are already planning our next visit to the cottage.

We absolutely loved this little cottage. It was the perfect size for a studio. It was my spouse, myself, and our two dogs and we never felt cramped. Cottage is in a perfect location and we appreciated having a place our dogs could vacation too! Communication was excellent. We will definitely be rebooking for pur next trip.

Perfect, cozy home for your getaway. The property was super warm, welcoming, and clean. It had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very informative, attentive and pleasant. No complaints!!

Such a perfect location for what I consider to be the coziest 1 room cottage. Quiet location, clean property, and my pup was just as happy as me. Short walk across the street to get to the beach, and close to anything that I would need. Would definitely stay here again. No issues with anything!

The Little Cottage was perfect for my husband and I. It had everything that we needed and was located in proximity to almost everything especially the beach. Would definitely this little gem.
