Very nice! The inside of the house is as nice as the pictures. I got the sense that it's a recent, thoughtfully done remodel that's almost complete. It had some nice welcoming touches such as a basket with s'mores fixings. It wasn't important to us, but the pictures of the water could be misleading because we couldn't see the water from the property. Overall, this was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs, yet very affordable. I definitely recommend this property.
I gave the description 4 stars instead of 5 bc it’s listed as have 2 bathrooms and although it does one is located away from the main living space and bedrooms in the basement. Took us a while to even find it. Secondly, do not stay here if you’re tall as the ceilings in 2 of the bedrooms and the full bath are very low. Other than that everything was wonderful. The main living space was set up super cute and comfy. The kitchen was stocked with all supplies we needed and the owners even left us supplies to make s’mores. It worked for us and we enjoyed our stay!
I booked this house for my bachelorette party. We enjoyed a boat day on the Sacandaga and just needed a place to stay so that no one had to drive home. The host was very rude in our communication back and fourth prior to our stay. She was acting like we were about to have a frat party at her house and it was very obvious that she didn't want our business. She refused to let us book the house for 1 night as it is a 2 night minimum but then moved up our checkout time several times to reflect us only being able to stay for 1 night regardless of what we paid. Even the house rules and instructions were rude and aggressive. As a group of young girls that travel a lot together we have never left a house a mess and always are respectful. As soon as this host heard it was my bachelorette party she instantly assumed we were planning to trash the house. She never once said congrats or have fun. Overall experience at the house was great but can not recommend due to the disrespect from this host.
The owner was great at communicating. It is located close to the water. Nice backyard. Most of all, the house had everything we needed!!! Highly recommended for a quiet family stay.
We stayed at the property with 7 men for a fishing weekend. We were able to park 3 trucks with boats on the property. The boat ramp was approximately 15 minutes away. The property was clean with plenty of room for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed. Sarah was very prompt with getting back to me to answer our questions. We enjoyed our stay.
This home was great for our family and friends. Everything we needed was there. It was clean and set up nicely. And the dock use was convenient too. We will be back for sure.
We stayed at this immaculate cottage for a family wedding. It was not only spotless, it had everything we could possibly need. Every detail was perfect and the proximity to the lake was awesome!
We had a wonderful two night stay. We were four in our group and only used 2 of 4 bedrooms. Owner was easy to contact and made sure we arrived to comfortable conditions (AC was on) and even thought to have s’more makings for the kids. Very pleasant experience.
