The location of the small cottage right on the beach was awsome. It made the vacation.
We had an absolute fantastic stay in cottage 5. It was very clean, right on the beach, and only a mile from restaurants! We will definitely try to book again in the future!
The cottage has a great location, with beautiful views and sounds of the ocean. We spend a good deal of time in the screened porch which was perfect. The cottage is weathered but comfortable. Cindy is a great host, always available and ready to help to make our stay memorable. We are so looking forward to our next vacation at the cottage.
This has got to be the best rental we have stayed in so far, it’s a cozy cottage steps from the sand, we couldn’t have asked for more, Cynthia was also the nicest most responsive host we’ve ever had, we will definitely be looking to stay again, we absolutely loved it!!!
6 stars for this location and The host is super attentive. This is an older tongue and grove cabin, that needs some good tlc, but its still comfy. If you want some luxury this is not it but the privacy and location makeup for it. he views and location make up foBring your own blowdryer, soft toilet paper, and a curtain as the bathroom door is not private and you can see the person coming out of the shower
The Cottage was very comfortable and the View-spectacular. Restaurants close by you could ride your bike. Cindy the owner responded each time quickly.
Great experience. This little cottage was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet and mostly secluded beach. We stayed 7 nights and had plenty space. We especially enjoyed the screen porch. You cant get any closer to the beach unless someone builds an overwater bugalow! If you are looking for crowds, noise and riff raff.....this is NOT the place for you.
My husband, kids and I all enjoyed this special beach cottage. We were able to bring our dogs with us and they enjoyed it as well! Cyndi talked me off the ledge when there were concerns prior to the trip and she was very responsive to us throughout our week long stay. We hope to visit again next year!
This is a tough review for me to write because this is a great location and the owner seems to work hard and truly care about the comfort of her guests. The site is fantastic - beautiful sunsets, long private clean beach, terrific screened sunporch, beach chairs, umbrella, grill and comfy Adirondack chairs out front. The beds are comfortable with soft linens and towels. TV chanels and WiFi are great. The kitchen is very small and stocked with only the basics. The tiny refrigerator requires frequent trips to the store - tough to cook if you don't want to eat out every night. This very rustic cottage is probably more appropriate for a shorter stay. (It should be noted that Cindy has a place next door that would be far more suitable for a longer stay). Upon arrival, I made Cindy aware of some issues and she was quite responsive. Unfortunately, we were booked for 44 costly days and on approximately 25 of those days, we had to vacate the place due to severe symptoms of Red Tide. I honestly believe Cindy wants you to enjoy your stay and of course has no control over the weather nor environment. In fact, Cindy bought us a couple drinks to dull the pain of our inability to remain at the cottage. Unfortunately there is no compensation for the 25 lost days in paradise. Cindy, however, didn't hesitate to refund the pet fee when I advised her that our little dog passed on. For folks coming from the north or those otherwise uninformed about the dangers/effects of Red Tide, a dream vacation can quickly turn into a health nightmare. This is not a reflection on Cindy nor her place but rather an issue to be aware of on the entire Gulf Coast.
I can not find the words to explain how amazing the view and this adorable property is. You will not regret it!!! My youngest son was crying because he had to leave.
