I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bear Trot Cabin, and it exceeded all my expectations! This charming abode is not only minutes away from downtown but also conveniently close to the Polar Express festivities. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat without sacrificing proximity to key attractions. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin. The owners clearly take pride in maintaining a spotless environment, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The attention to detail in cleaning did not go unnoticed, and it truly enhanced the overall experience. Parking was a breeze, and the quiet area and private hot tub added to the serene ambiance. It was a relief to return to such a peaceful haven after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The owners went above and beyond by calling on Saturday to ensure our stay was going smoothly and to inquire if we needed anything. The kitchen in Bear Trot Cabin deserves special mention. It was a joy to find a well-equipped kitchen, stocked with all the staples needed for a family meal. The convenience of having a grocery store just 5 minutes away made it super easy to enjoy a meal at the house. In summary, I highly recommend Bear Trot Cabin for anyone looking for a cozy, clean, and conveniently located retreat.

We absolutely loved our weekend stay at this property! The accommodations were wonderful - well appointed, comfortable, and decorated well - and the proximity to Bryson City was a definite bonus.

Needed to recharge my mind and my body and this cabin was so peaceful and quiet I didn’t want to leave. I will be back

From the hot tub to the fire pit and all the amenities inside were perfect. Screened in porch area was great while we waited for the rain to stop. I will 100% look at Yellow Rose for our next vacation in North Carolina.

Yellow Rose is so wonderful to work with; everything on the booking end is so organized and well thought out, I couldn’t imagine using anyone else! The Bear Trot has been our favorite so far- it is so well appointed- the footprint may be small, but everything feels quite spacious and inviting. I can’t say enough good things about the owners of this cabin- they put so much thought and love into each and every detail and IT SHOWS. Each piece of furniture seems to be hand picked for comfort. This is the first cabin I’ve stayed in where the mattresses were actually comfortable & you can fall into the couches for relaxing after a busy day. The “trot” the middle porch was perfect for early morning coffee or late afternoon board games. And the separation of the house is perfect for big families, families with older kids, or multiple families coming together. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, all the spices and cookware you could ever need. Each closet we opened (and there were MANY) were full of little “extras” the owner left for us all to enjoy. Every board game you could imagine, stacks of books, toy boxes of toys for the littles. My MIL read an entire book series while we were there! (Left by the gracious hosts) The only drawback to this cabin is the lack of WiFi. No biggie if you’re looking to get away, BUT pair this with a lack of cell service & it does complicate things. Imagine trying to call in or order dinner online after a long day, trying to pull up/research where a trail begins & ends, or finalize those train tickets. I understand WiFi isn’t easy to come by in this area, so I get it- just something to note. The location couldn’t be better. You’re so close to town, yet feel far away from it all. Overall, it was truly a one of a kind experience & we will be back. Highly recommend th

The property was cute and good size. Owner cheaped out and stopped wi-fi; caused serious issues for us! We expext a sustantial refund! Even mgmt wasn't aware of wi-fi being disconnected.The tv was on sattelite and went out every time it rained (every day) Management was good, homeowner shouldn't be so scrimpy as much as the property costs.

We loved this house! Beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was great. There were tons of games and toys for the kids to play with. The area was close enough to town to be a short drive but far enough away enough to be secluded and private. We had to contact the rental property once about the electric fireplace but they responded so quickly and came and fixed it. He was so helpful and very courteous. There are lot of extra space heaters, tons of towels and lots of little extras that make the house even better! We will be back and cannot say enough great things about this house!

We had a great time during our stay. The house was very warm and inviting and did not disappoint at all.

The house was great! Worked well for our needs. Very spacious and cool layout. Kids loved making smores at night. Close to all places we wanted to go and explore. The grill didn't work for us but that is the only thing that was wrong. Great place!
