We had a perfect short break here for a few days over the Burns weekend. The cottage is cosy and tastefully appointed, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay (sitting room warms up nicely once you get the fire roaring). Very well located for Glencoe, (which has to be one of the most beautiful parts of the UK) Ben Nevis, Oban etc. To be honest everywhere you look in the highlands is breathtaking (including the view from the sitting room, which looks out on Loch Leven). A short walk down the road is the Loch Leven Hotel, which has a good selection of Whisky and Gins. Also recommend a trip to the Clachaig Inn (good craic here on Burns night). Coming up from London it was a refreshing change of pace, scenery and gave time to reconnect with what’s really important in life. We will return one day to this lovely little cottage.
