Stayed Jan 16, 2026Comfortable property, accurate listing and photos. Host was thoughtful and hospitable, with good and timely comms both pre-check-in and during our 3-night stay. Comfy bed, clean and well-equipped unit, conveniently located. It would be extra-pleasant during spring/summer/fall (we were there during a cold snap, so didn’t use the outdoor amenities). Would book again.

Stayed Oct 27, 2025Perfect location a short walk up the hill to Grove Park Inn, lots of bears in the neighborhood - even an albino squirrel (see photo). Very quiet place in a serene residential neighborhood, and nicely appointed with shopping amenities and downtown Asheville nearby. It was our 2nd visit. We will be back!

Stayed Oct 31, 2025Cute little cabin where you feel like you’re in the woods, and also close to downtown Asheville. Enjoyed the comfort and amenities and seeing the white squirrels and a bear pass by our stairs.

Stayed Sep 9, 2024We wanted to see the art galleries in Asheville and the Chihuly glass exhibit at the Biltmore Estate, but didn’t want to stay there (as friends had). This beautifully renovated cottage sits uphill from the owner’s home next to the entrance of the Grove Park Inn in a very nice older neighborhood. Very comfortable for the two of us. Highly recommended!

Stayed Aug 2, 2024We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend. It is located in a great neighborhood located on the same road as the Grove Park Inn. The cottage is perfect for 2 people and had everything we needed to stay in and eat in Iif we wanted to, even a gas grill! The farmer’s markets have great locally grown produce. There are lots of great brewpubs and restaurants nearby (downtown is about a 5-10 minute easy drive). Bones and Broth is right down the hill and is very good. Also, having drinks and appetizers in the lobby and patio of the Grove Park Inn was very enjoyable. The Biltmore is also a fun day trip. We enjoyed the Chihuly exhibit, the house tour and the winery tasting. Craig was a great host and had a bottle of Biltmore wine waiting for us at our arrival. We would definitely stay again the next time we visit Asheville.

Stayed Jul 13, 2024Cozy historic cottage renovated with thoughtful modern touches while maintaining historical charm—we visited for an anniversary weekend jaunt to Asheville. Comfy bed, plush linens and towels with great water pressure and shower head. Owners live on property close to rental. Stone steps from street level parking pad to cottage are sturdy and even. Welcome bottle of wine from Biltmore House, coffee, tea, hot kettle, coffeemaker with filters and sugars all provided. Will stay here again next visit to Asheville-also fabulous location to Grove Park Inn literally 1/2 mile up the street, 15 mins to Biltmore; 15 to RAD, and 15 to Blue Ridge Pkwy.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024We had a great weekend at this place. The inside was clean and neat and the bed was very comfortable. But the outside could use some cleaning up. Parking is very tight unless you drive a small vehicle. Also it is within walking distance of the Omni Grove Park inn.

Stayed Jun 17, 2024We are so glad we stayed at Three Bears Cottage! The place is a perfect size for a couple and is nicely tucked away with great scenery near Park Grove Inn. You are welcomed with a bottle of wine upon arrival and the place was very clean and well organized. There's a binder with a quick overview of where to find key items and information about the area and property. The bed is incredibly comfortable so we both slept very well! We enjoyed an evening walking over to Sunset Terrace at the Park Grove for drinks, dinner and a view. It's a short walk (uphill and with stairs --doable, but just a heads up for those looking for flat land-- you won't find this in most of Asheville, haha). The location is very central for Asheville and we were only about 10-15 minutes from places we wanted to drive to (brewery, Asheville Tourists ballpark). We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!
