Historic Bonny Cottage in downtown Beaufort SC

I very much liked the seclusion of the cottage. Also it’s location to downtown Beaufort, and restaurants within an easy walk. Mike and Ellen were warm and personable. Very positive experience.

This was the perfect place for my husband and me to vacation. The cottage was beautiful. We will definitely go back!

Delightful stay in perfect cottage.

The cottage is stunning with paintings by the owner herself. It was like staying in a gallery. Every detail was accounted for and we have absolutely nothing to suggest for improvement. The location was fabulous, we walked everywhere. One of the highlights of our stay was just sitting down with Ellen and Mike and hearing their story. Thank you for such a perfect weekend. We will definitely be back.

Property was impeccable all around. Attractive, period decor, super clean. Every aspect thoughtfully appointed, down to shower head and toiletries. Loved the quaintness of neighborhood and deep historic character of area. Very pleasurable and memorable. We will absolutely return within the year. We stayed five nights at this lovely place. It is cozy and perfectly located to downtown. Super clean and we had everything we needed provided for us. Plenty of space for me and my wife. Downtown is really at most a five minute walk and the walk is rather nice. Definitely would stay here again. Oh. And just saying the people of this city are the nicest people on the planet ! Seriously!

Our stay at Bonny cottage was very enjoyable. Easy walking distance to restaurants and the downtown. The cottage is very clean and the furnishings are quite nice.The furniture for sitting is doable. Television and streaming services great. We have discovered another fine place in the VRBO system.
