Stayed Dec 5, 2025Hetton Byre is truly a home away from home. We have stayed on multiple occasions as we love it so much. It's in the perfect location for exploring the beaches or the countryside. Debs and Mike are wonderful hosts and make sure you have everything you need and are always on hand. The cottage itself is cosy and comforting and is well equipped. It's also.super dog friendly

Stayed Sep 19, 2025Beautiful setting away from the crowds. Comfortable cottage, great for ourselves very practical for the dogs. Well placed to access the beaches or inland attractions. The owners are great - very friendly and helpful. We obviously like it - this was our 5th visit and I am sure we'll be returning.

Thought the ‘Dog box’ was a really nice touch. Super views from all sides. Considerate hosts that very kindly posted the inner cushion from the dog bed that we forgot when we left. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Secluded stay with plenty of walks, small kindness es from hosts providing milk and tea/coffee/hot chocolate. Great stay for dogs and people alike. The dogs especially liked their treats.
