We enjoyed how close it was to the local bars/restaurants. Amos was very nice and accommodating during our stay. I would stay here again in the future as it’s a nice little cottage.

We found someone’s dirty underwear under the bed. The beds were very uncomfortable. The second bedroom was not a bedroom but a very small porch in which you were barely able to walk around the bed. This should be advertised as able to sleep two people. It is a great location by downtown.

Left moldy coffee filter in coffee maker. Dead bolt on door didn’t work. Many windows didn’t lock. A Positive was location.

This is a perfect location! A no frills convenient spot. The property owner was super nice and helpful when we ended up leaving something important behind. I would 10/10 recommend

Pros: Prime location, extra pull out twin size beds in the living room, a ton of towels (which was needed for all of the beach days). That is where the pros end. The remainder of my comments are especially relevant for young families. This should not be listed as a two bedroom as the second room appears to be a tacked on sun room with zero ventilation. It felt unsafe to have our three year old sleep in there. It is definitely not up to code. There isn’t a true door either - just a bifold to close. The place was very dingy with part of the floor coming up between the bath and main bedroom (with what appeared to be mold underneath), there were ants in the kitchen, the dishwasher was out of order, and the extra sheets on the shelf were damp. If your kids sleep in the living room or sun room, they will definitely wake up with the sun as there are only shades on some of the windows and no curtains. We were provided one toilet paper roll and one garbage bag for four nights - although the property manager was responsive when we requested more. I would not recommend this place, especially to families.

Hire a professional. Place has real potential. Worked in housing for 45 years. Definitely needs a major upgrade. Gut the place and start over. Make sure you have a designer. No moreDYI for us. LOCATION,Location, location. Thanks for the stay somewhat comfy but location spot on.

Loved that there was a room with queen, a room with twin, and large room. Felt like 3 different sleeping areas. Dishwasher was out of order. Wi-Fi came from a different cabin. Queen mattresses should be replaced soon. Location is walkable to everything in fish Creek. Great communication. Overall very positive experience.

You can't beat the location, and if it's just two people and you don't want to cook except for easy meals or breakfast, then this is great. Beware that the second bed is an old pull-out, and the mattress is very thin and uncomfortable. The main bed is only a queen, not terrible, but the mattress is very firm. The most comfortable spot to sleep is the couch in the living room. The kitchen has only the very basics when it comes to cooking tools, enough for the basics, but not much else. For the price, I was expecting more, but it was a great stay, and the home worked. A suggestion for the owner would be to add a bunk bed to replace the pull-out couch in the room off the kitchen and upgrade the mattress in the main bedroom.

This is a great little traditional Door County cabin - clean, rustic and nice. Amazing location and great responsiveness from the owner

While we loved our location, we were unhappy with the cleanliness and quality of the property and feel that the listing was misrepresentative of the home. The kitchen and bathtub were quite dirty (I used a white bathrag and water on the kitchen counter and it was brown), there are cobwebs, dust, and dead bugs on most surfaces, the appliances (oven and refrigerator) still had food residue, the lights either don't work or have burned out bulbs leaving the room in darkness, there are no dish rags, dish towels, paper towels or dish soap to wash dishes (only a dirty sponge). The most frustrating aspect is the sleeping arrangements. The listing advertised beds for 5, but a lumpy couch does not qualify as a bed. And the second bedroom which also is not a bedroom with no place for clothing, etc, is so hot that it is unreasonable to expect anyone to sleep there (no AC in 90 degrees conditions) Furthermore, there aren't even 5 pillows in the house for 5 people to sleep. Therefore we had to relocate our kids to another property so that they were able to sleep. We contacted the host less than 24 hours into our stay and he offered no restitution.

the cottage though a bit old is so sweet and perfectly located. Unfortunately it didn't seem to have been cleaned in between renters. there were dirty dishes in sink and dishwasher etc, and the bathroom was also unsanitized and uncleaned from previous renters. the contact for the cottage said they were short cleaning crews, however that is no excuse.

Spacious cabin right off of the Main Street in Fish Creek. So much space and feels like you’re in nature, while also being convenient to plenty of restaurants and the lakefront. Would recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We didn’t plan far ahead for our trip to Door County and lucked out to find a place downtown Fish Creek! The location of this property is perfect! We read the reviews online and brought along a mattress pad and slept great! We appreciated the pet friendlyness and highly recommend a stay in Fish Creek.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and had plenty of room for the two of us. The kitchen was equipped with the essentials but nothing more. The bedroom was on the smaller side and had room to store your clothing and hang clothes. The bed wasn't comfortable and it was a full, so be ready for a cozy time. Both A/C's worked good and we didn't have any issue staying cool throughout our stay. There isn't any trash pickup or garbage bins outside, so we had to keep all our trash in the extra bedroom. Not ideal. Overall the place was a great location to Fish Creek restaurants, bars, marina, and shopping. We would stay here again. Thanks
