Great Cottage at Craigville Beach! Knoll side

Cute little space, needing some upgrades but nothing that would prevent a return stay. Excellent location to beach and other activities.

Loved the location on Craigville Beach and how accessible the property is to Hyannis and nearby towns for Cape League Baseball, a jaunt to Martha's Vineyard, and even a trip out to P-Town. All in all I'm very likely to consider this property again! No complaints!

We rented both sides of this property for a family trip to the Cape. The location of this rental is lovely, across the street from a nice beach. However, there is not much of a yard to play in and it is on a bit of a busy street. The house does not have air conditioning, which we knew, but we expected that it would cool down more given the location near the beach. There is not much of a cross breeze, despite being near the beach and it got VERY hot and muggy in the house, especially in the afternoons and evenings. Even when the temperatures outside had cooled down the inside stayed very warm and uncomfortable inside for hours. The property owners do provide many fans to help cool things down, however, several of the fans were broken, and others were so covered in dust that it was pretty disgusting to use them. Other window fans didn't fit well in the windows and bugs would get in through the cracks. Speaking of bugs, when we arrived there were ants in both the kitchens, and several larger bugs around the house. We had to deal with ants through the whole trip. Things also just felt pretty dirty and run down in the house. The carpets REALLY need to be replaced and looked/felt pretty gross. The beds are old and uncomfortable and everyone in our party slept badly and had back pain. All in all, we had a nice trip to Cape Cod and enjoyed the local beaches and food, but we tried to stay away from the house as much as possible as it really wasn't a pleasant place to spend time.

The location of this property was literally steps to the beach and perfect for that aspect of things. Also an easy drive to a grocery store and other shops if you need to pick things up. If you are looking to stay inside during the day, there is no AC so it can get hot quickly even with the breeze. The kitchen is not great but the grill made up for that (for us). I don't know that you would want more than 2 adults there at a time unless it was really just being used as home base. The location made this place worth it for us. If you're looking for something fancier, this place isn't for you but if you're looking for the perfect location and a clean house with grill - book this place now.
