Government St Cottage DT Ocean Springs! Golf cart included!

When we arrived, we cannot help but notice that the whole vibe of the place was like your own tiny home. We were skeptical of using the golf cart at first, but realized on our first full day that it gives you so many more options for exploring all of ocean Springs. The living room/kitchen set up was perfect for us to unwind in the mornings with our coffee, but we also have the option of a beautiful front porch. The water pressure, the temperature of the water, and all of the linens provided were abundant and clean. 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend if I wasn’t the kind of person that wanted to keep Ocean Springs a secret.P.S.Check out the funky little dive bar next-door. You will not be disappointed.

The stay at our Government cottage went well. Despite several bugs within the house and receiving checkin info 2 hours before posted checkin time, the house was centrally located in downtown OS. Golf cart was an added perk which our family loved.

Was clean and located close to main strip and beach area. Bed was lumpy and old and sofa bed was worn out. Located next to a dive biker bar that is open with loud music til 3 am During the day it was quiet and enjoyed sitting on the porch.

Everything was exceptional. Clean, walking distance to Everything. Only issue was that our golfcart didnt work or we couldnt get it charged.

It is in a perfect location. The use of the golf cart was a plus I would definitely stay here again if available.

Home very cute. Golf cart had a flat tire the entire weekend which limited us. Music from the bar was pretty loud on Saturday night. Otherwise was good

the cottage was precious and plenty of room for two people. The golf cart was a great addition as we never had to move our car once we arrived to the property. Owners were easy to work with and communicated great. We will be booking another stay here soon!

Host was good at passing on the info needed. There were no unwelcome surprises. Everything that we needed was there and clean. There is one minor thing that needs attention, that is one of the chairs at the table is quit unstable and needs to be addressed. We would gladly stay with yall again.

Cottage was cute and comfortable. Host was awesome. Golfcart was a hit. Will stay there again.

We loved our stay. It was clean and in the perfect location with golf cart access to downtown! There is a nightclub next door and the train comes through but neither bothered us!

No hot water. Did not get fixed til 2nd day we were there. Long wait to get responses from host. Was loud at night, next door to bar with loud music and train passes very near. Blows horn and passed at 2:30 ish AM and about 4 AM

Golf cart only worked one time. Would not come on again and after several attempts to get help from the host, no one offered any help. The cottage was very cute and in a great location. There is a bar just over the fence that you can hear music until the wee hours of the morning but that did not bother us. Not being able to use the golf cart very much bothered us. That was the sole purpose of renting this cottage was to be able to use the golf cart. I would recommend this area to stay just don’t bank on being able to use the golf cart. Huge letdown!

My husband and I fell in love with this charming & cozy cottage the moment we stepped inside. The location was prime real estate to us, you have the best of both world’s with this cottage. If you are seeking a nice quite getaway to the beach you are only minutes away but if you are looking for a fun & vibrant trip downtown that provides great shopping, delicious food, & live entertainment you can have that too! The host was great, she contacted us the day of our trip welcoming us and let us know if there was anything we needed she was only a call away. We took advantage of the location and enjoyed the beach and downtown. WE are looking forward to our next stay.

Cozy little place to stay and the golf cart was an added plus we went everywhere! They have made golf cart parking spots along the main streets !

Great place

While it certainly wasn't the biggest place, it was perfect for my wife and I for our stay in Ocean Springs. Communication was easy and the included golf cart was a great perk.

Very nice clean house. Golf cart was great… we used it during our entire stay… Never had to use our car. Great AC units. Very easy check in and check out. Excellent communication.

Beautiful cottage and close to local attractions.

The outside of this property was perfect to the eye, golf cart included was a selling point. As soon as we walked in the door, the smell of mildew knocked us down. Then we noticed none of the trash was taken out, and there was no way there was clean sheets on the bed. Hair covered them, along with other things. Thankfully there was other sheets to put on the bed, so we changed the sheets ourself. The other sheets and blanket I pulled out for the pull out couch for my 5 year old smelt like cigarette smoke. The golf cart roof is broken, and pieces/bolts constantly was coming unscrewed and we had to try to fix it. The golf also would stop on us, like the pedal would get stuck. Ants were all in the bathroom as well. I recommend this property if you like the smell of mildew, and like dirty sheets. If you don't, I wouldn't fall for the cabin with golf cart included. It was not worth it.

The cottages are cozy and well-furnished, and everything is neat and clean. The property is located close enough to downtown Ocean Springs to be convenient, but is nicely tucked away and provides privacy and seclusion despite being in town.My wife and I stayed two nights over the weekend and it served as a good home base for all of our comings and goings.Great and fluid communication with the property representative, very friendly and quick to respond. We will look forward to booking with them again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Clean and neat. We enjoyed using the golf cart to go to the beach( a short drive) and drive downtown for eating. All short drives and very accessible. This was a fun few days of resting, enjoying East Beach, and eating fun dinners. Thank you.

We arrived finding no AC. The golf cart wasn’t charged and the hospitality specialist had her assistant speak with us instead of her. We had a completely wasted day was finally put in a different cottage After having to find something to do while they try to get an AC person to come out. We were given a nice place was not told it had an upstairs. I just had a hip replacement the bedrooms and only restrooms were upstairs. overall, it was a disappointment. We were only there for the weekend and the first day was wasted.. Called Tanya the day before we left and the day we left still have not received a call back. Honestly, her young assistant was trying to be very helpful and did always take our calls.
