Anaconda is a quaint Montana town, and the Sapphire Adventure Cottage is located right downtown - walking distance to Jordi's TexMex Cantina and just a short bike ride or drive over to the brewery, shops & more. While we love the charm of downtown, please note that there are wonderful full-time residents on either side of our property. Please be respectful of quiet times, and be a Good Neighbor. We also have town deer that frequent the property - be aware of where you step :) Please do not feed the wildlife. Yes, they can jump the back fence.

There is street parking in front of the home (max 2 cars) as well as parking in the alley behind (park in the gravel by the rear fence).

There are several eateries within a short walking distance, and many more within a short bike or car ride.

This home has sloped ceilings upstairs. Be aware if you are tall!

We had a lovely stay at the Switchback Adventure Cottage, it was a clean and comfortable home base for our winter vacation. The kitchen was well supplied and allowed us to cook dinner each night and try out new recipes. Our dogs were extremely comfortable and we loved the sauna!

We came to Anaconda to attend a family wedding. This was a fantastic rental close to downtown which made for an easy and safe weekend. House was very clean and well cared for. The sauna provided a relaxing break from the chilly October temps. Communication and instruction with owners was timely, simple, and well thought out. It is in a residential area so if you are looking for more of a party vibe, probably not a good fit. But if you are a family or couple looking for a relaxed, quality getaway, I highly recommend.

We had a lovely 2-night stay here with 4 adults and our infant. We were commuting back-and-forth to Sugar Loaf Lodge for wedding festivities, and it was super nice to have our own comfortable space for the weekend. We're from Montana, so we knew the deal with Anaconda, but the short version is that the neighborhood is a mix of very rundown houses with recently renovated homes. This rental was obviously one of the very nice renovations, and we didn't feel unsafe, by any means — just an FYI for anyone who doesn't already know the area. The sauna was AMAZING, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. Finally, the hosts were quick and wonderful to communicate with — thanks, Michelle and Bob!

We are from Anaconda. Our stay was centered around Art in the Park. This home was very cozy, we stayed for almost a week. The house is on the east side of town and a long walk to downtown area. I would drive for groceries and to restaurants. The house was clean and well equiped.

My family and I stayed here a couple of days for a family wedding near Anaconda. Communication with the hosts before and after the stay were outstanding, and we were immediately impressed by how clean and tidy the property was when we arrived. The location is very convenient, with a couple of good places to eat within easy walking distance (shout out to Jordi's Cantina -- the best Tex-Mex breakfast I've had in MT, and only a couple of blocks away). While it was a bit too warm to take advantage of the sauna, we did enjoy relaxing and playing tic-tac-toe in the back yard in our moments of down time. All told, a great experience. Thank you!
