Lovely Cottage, walking distance to town. Fire kept up warm at night. Kitchen would be a bit small for 6 - but you could make it work.

Although small the cottage was perfect for our family of six when we stayed in Beechworth for three nights recently. The kitchen and bathroom were well set up though a pantry would be usefu. Added bonus: striking wall colours.The location was quiet and walking into town was an easy 5 minutes.Recommended.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. We frequently stay in short term accommodation and are almost always disappointed by the kitchen (poor selection of crockery and utensils, no useful cooking pans/ dishes, not enough space to cook for yourself etc). The kitchen in this cottage was amazing! We cooked together and gathered around the table - it was like being at home. The rest of the home was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The claw foot bath was a hit! My husband and I are already planning a longer stay later in the year.

Goldfields Cottage is centrally located and has all of the amenities you need for a Beechworth holiday. The kitchen is well equipped as is the adjacent bathroom. Comfy beds and a peaceful verandah for those early evening drinks make it a great place to stay.I recommend this cottage!

The cottage is absolutely fantastic. Very old style but very well equipped. Great kitchen with everything you need . We used the front bedroom and the bed was very comfortable and cosy. Easy walking distance to town and the many great eateries and shops. Short walk to the old goal with a great guided tour. Very happy the our host and with a clean and well presented home. Will be returning in the near future. Thank you.

Perfect location for walking to lots of what to see in Beechworth. House was super comfy with great outdoor deck to view the night sky. Inside was well fitted out and met all our needs. Would stay there again.

Very comfortable and super clean property. Lovely and quiet but still an easy walk to town. We stayed a week and left the car home for 3 of the days!! So easy to walk to shops, cafes, lake and tours. More than adequate heating. Great base. We love this town.

Loved the cosy atmosphere of the cottage, it helped us experience the “historical” aspect of Beechworth. Everything was comfortable and clean and we really loved the wood fire in the lounge.

Cute, neat and tidy little cottage. Great location to Main Street.
