The house was very nice and close to the ocean.

Very relaxing. Close to the beach and walkable. No issues. Bed was comfortable and the screened in porch was great.

Property was as described, excellent location within walking distance to public access beach. We loved the outdoor shower and fish cleaning station.

If you want to enjoy some beautiful, relaxing time on the beach, this is the place. We comfortably cooked meals, including charcoal grilling, walked to the beach (the wagon was SO HELPFUL) (brought or own charcoal and lighter fluid), and slept well. The outdoor shower after the beach is the best!

Very short walk to beach and beds were very comfortable the host are splendid in if you have a problem they answer quickly and the enclosed porch made for a great place to eat and socialize

The house made it feel like home I almost thought we knew the family. The house was very roomy and so close to the beach! They also gave good suggestions! Would 100% stay again!

Second time at Dauphin Island. Ate locally, sat on the beaches, too a ferry to Fort Morgan and drove to Pensacola for a day trip. Had a great top time. We were only here for 4 days, already planning a longer visit in 2026

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The house was within walking distance of the beach. Our street and neighbors were quiet. The house was well stocked. We felt there was plenty of room to relax. The owner was kind enough to reach out after a stormy night to make sure the power was still on and everything was ok. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely rent again.

It was close enough to walk to the beach every day. The wrap around porch to sit in the sun and screened in porch to get out of the sun was a bonus!

I have stayed at this location for the last few years over Thanksgiving. The hosts are quite responsive to any inquiries. I enjoy the layout and convenience for myself and my son as well as the affordability of the property. It is easy to walk to the beach and the walking trail.

This was a great house in great proximity to everything! Just across the street from the beach on a quiet street We were just minutes away from restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our stay and even requested an extra night. Hostess was very accommodating and prompt in responding!

We had a wonderful stay! My husband’s family, who are older, especially enjoyed gathering to cook and then dine together on the screened-in porch while taking in the beautiful sunsets.

It was cozy little house it’s older you can tell it’s settled some I think the master should have a tv or the master should be the bigger room I killed a few bugs looked like big cockroaches but was prob something else all and all it’s a nice little cozy house id stay there again

Kim and Dennis’s place in DI I was Perfect for us and our two kids (ages 6 and 8). It’s comfy, has the essentials you need for cooking and living, and is only a block to the beach. The best part is that you also are practically getting bay front views at sunset! Thanks for hosting us we would love to come back again!

Home was in walking distance to the beach, owners were very quick with returning messages. Was stocked with everything you need for the beach! The deck area was super nice for watching those beautiful sunsets. Only downside we had with the home was getting the home to cool off. During the day with the AC being directly in the sun most of the day, it was hard to get the home to cool off. Even with AC set to 70 during the day it stayed 82 in the home.

The location was perfect! A very short walk to the, not crowded at all, beach! Close to restaurants and convenience stores. Our bed was very comfortable and the screened in porch was awesome! Our host were very responsive and super nice! Thanks Kim and Dennis! Highly recommend and plan on returning next year, if not sooner!
