The cottage is in great condition, well appointed, good for either a short or long stay. It would have been good if there was WIFI in the property but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

My family loved our stay at Florence Cottage! Even with the house being renovated it still had a beautiful old style cottage feel. It felt nice a spacious, clean and is well accommodating to a family. Unlike other places, the bedding was comfortable with a great option of pillow firmness and plenty of blankets too. We like the multiple air-conditioners as the temperature was quite warm. The location was perfect for what we were wanting. Would definitely stay again and highly recommended it to anyone looking for a cottage style house stay.

Beautiful place! Great location. Exactly as described. We had a lovely stay.Only thing that would've been help for our stay was maybe some cooking oil and vinegar.

The house was lovely. There is no Wifi at the house which was an initial nuisance, not a major problem.

This place was amazing, from tye moment we walked in were in love. From the front door all the way through to the back yard was just a pleasure to be there

Everything in the house was set up well. The location was perfect, just a couple of hundred metres away from the shops and eateries. The trip to the wineries was an easy 10 minute ride.

Beautiful home in a great location. Very spacious and perfect for our group of 4 ladies exploring all the local wineries etc in the Hunter Valley. Walking distance to shops and eateries as well. WIFI would be an added bonus. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous house, It was clean, charming, and the perfect spot for a family getaway. The house is fully equipped for families, with comfortable beds, toiletries, plenty of crockery, a cot and high chair for our little one, plus a spacious backyard for the kids to play in. We all loved it and wanted for nothing. I'll be looking to book this again next time we want to visit the Hunter Valley. The location is ideal, just 8 minutes from the vineyards, and close to restaurants, shops, and markets.Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for families looking for a peaceful and convenient retreat for the weekend or even longer. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Florence cottage. Beautifully appointed home with lots of character from the stained windows, grape vine in the garden, to the original stove in the kitchen. Lovely furniture and equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Conveniently located to shops and restaurants and easy to get to Hunter Valley wineries and attractions. We traveled with children and the property was very family friendly. Beds were comfortable and hotel grade sheets and linen were a lovely touch. Jodie was very responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip.

The house was very clean. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. Easy to access shops there was a small bit of traffic noise but it was the night of the Cessnock Show so seems acceptable.

Beautiful place in the heart of Cessnock. So close to all the amenities (walking distance) and perfect for the family, very homely and cosy. Well equipped with everything you need in a home and very clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cessnock or closeby.

we walked in to the house and we all were amazed how lovely decorated it was and every room was amazing only one night we stayed but i would recommend it to all our friends and the back yard was so pretty we wished we had more time to enjoy that as well ! and i have to say that the owner jodie was very accomodating to us thank you very much

We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is gorgeous. The beds so comfy and had everything we needed. Lovely warm feel as you walk in the door. Excellent location and not far from The Hunter. Would definitely stay there again.

We spent a long weekend in the Hunter. Florence cottage is perfectly situated and so pretty. I loved drinking coffee on the front verandah watching the sun rise. And the bath is pure luxury. Highly recommended as a vacation stay.

What a quaint, inviting and absolutely homely cottage. Located near all local amenities and a stone's throw from local wineries. Communication with Jodie was superb and she was accommodating to all of our requests. Could not recommended this property more.

This was the perfect place for a girls weekend trip. The location is close enough to all the wineries and local shops!
