The beautiful Field Row is the owners' much loved second home. Converted from a row of three farm cottages into one stunning, spacious detached holiday retreat in the pretty, peaceful village of Field Dalling, everything about this hideaway has the wow factor. Nestled in the idyllic Norfolk countryside, the stunning coastline is reachable by car in under ten minutes. Many original features have been retained, which seamlessly blend with contemporary fixtures and fittings, including an amazinggalleried landing overlooking the living and kitchen/breakfast room, the focal point being the vast inglenook fireplace and double height vaulted ceiling.

From the moment you arrive at the property and set foot inside the traditional Norfolk cottage style entrance hall you cannot help but feel relaxed. A cosy beamed sitting room with oak flooring and cottage-style windows with shutters leads off the entrance hall. Stylishly decorated and furnished with comfy sofas set around a wood burning stove with a fabulous surround. All of the bedrooms have high vaulted ceilings. The open-plan living area is the real 'hub' and a wonderful space for families and friends to enjoy spending time together. All the windows have hand crafted shutters and overlook the patio and mature cottage gardens beyond. The bright hand-built kitchen has shaker style fitted units, a double Belfast sink and Aga. There is a large farmhouse table with seating for up to ten people, ideal for family meals and a friends get together.

Field Row is perfect for families and ideal for friends, but also a rather romantic spot for a couple or two, who are looking for a beautiful, peaceful location with lots of space to spread out, both indoors and out. The cottage is a great base from which to explore this wonderful part of North Norfolk, having easy access to both coastal and rural delights.

We have now visited twice which pretty much tells you what I think! Great centre for many good days!

What a lovely quirky holiday home. Staying with our son and family the huge kitchen diner worked well and what a treat to try out an Aga. Our granddaughters loved the spiral staircases and the jack and Jill bathroom not to mention th huge garden. The only downside was the lack of any pub or convenience store near by.

The fitted sheet on the master bedroom bed had a blood stain on it and when I stripped it off the mattress protector was disgusting. As it was the evening and we needed to sleep in the bed I washed them both and slept that night without a mattress protector which took until the next morning to be dry. Both items came back spotless so it proved that they had not been washed. I reported this in person to Norfolk Hideaways the next day.

Nice but not worth the expense, for the cost you would expect all the bells and whistles, other properties which cost less provide a nice welcome tray but this had none. There was no bin liners or dishwasher tablets and the pans had seen better days, it is nice to have a large garden but if the weather is poor you can't use it and we come to Norfolk to see the area. If you all want to sit together in the main room there isn't really enough seating.

Lovely private cottage in the perfect location to explore both arms of the North Norfolk coast. Large garden and open downstairs space made it perfect for our family - and the kids having their own end of the cottage with separate staircases was a treat for us all! Would love to visit again.

Contacted Norfolk Hideaways on arrival as some cleanliness issues internally and no mention on booking of pig farm next door. They never responded by phone or email. Cottage has a wonderful dog friendly garden and is lovely inside. It could do with some reading lamps and bins upstairs and an iron for customer use. It is important to note that the cottage is right next to a busy working farm yard and there can be issues with noise. Despite that we would go again as location is superb and its got a lovely aspect and atmosphere.

First impressions on arrival were very positive - spacious and attractive living and kitchen space and comfortable master bedroom. We appreciated the safe garden for children to play in. Also found this to be a good base for nearby coast and attractions in NE Norfolk. We did find that the bed in the second double bedroom was not in great condition and probably needs attention- fortunately my daughter was able to use another single in the children’s room, as otherwise it would have been a problem. This part of the house was slightly less appealing than the living area, although on the plus side it was almost self contained. Wi-if didn’t work until our last day, but on the whole we enjoyed our week at Field Row.

The house was basically excellent! Located in a quiet and tranquil location but ideally situated for access to all the North Norfolk attractions and coast. The main kitchen and sitting area was a lovely warm home from home with a friendly and warm AGA and all the utensils and equipment you could ever want. The right hand building of the property needed some extra heating as it felt a bit cold and damp initially but with the heating that was rapidly sorted. Mac our Labrador loved the large garden and the local walks. The cows at the cattle farm just across the road from the property were a bit vocal for the first few days presumably just having had their calves taken away from them but that was a sound of the country. The pig farm at the opposite side of the property was well shielded by trees and the sounds of the piglets and pigs was again a sound of the country. We had an excellent holiday
