Farrier Beach Cottage

We spent Christmas 2025 here and we couldn't recommend it enough. It is perfect two to four people or two couples. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The cozy dinning room was perfect and the log burner was an added bonus that we used given the cold Christmas. Very close to the beach, pier and cafe which we love and all the independant boutiques and shop on the high St.

Farrier Beach Cottage is perfectly located near the sea, shops and railway station. It is peacefully quiet and has everything you need for a wonderful break in Deal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and close to lots of independent shops and restaurant and bars. The courtyard is a very relaxing place to relax after a walk by the sea. Thank you Keepers cottages for making our stay very enjoyable .

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Deal! It is tastefully decorated with great attention to detail and has everything you could possibly need. There were even some basic groceries waiting for us when we arrived, which was incredibly practical and thoughtful. The beds were super comfortable, and everything was perfectly set up for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We couldn’t have asked for more – simply perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at Farrier Beach Cottage. The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and responsive, and the space was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. It’s quiet but very central — just steps from the beach, around the corner from the high street, and a short walk to the train station. The cottage had everything we needed (especially the kitchen!), and there were great spots to relax, both inside and out. It also worked well for remote work, with good desk/table setups and reliable internet. Would love to stay again!!

Lovely short term break. The television is a bit difficult to deal with as are the stairs. I take everything including the kitchen sink…which proved very hard to get up those curly stairs…

The cottage is perfectly located near the high street and the beach. It’s close enough to pop down with a sundowner and beach chairs to the beach early evening or visit one of the great shops on the high street in five minutes. It is very comfortable and well equipped although upstairs is quite small. The stairs would be a challenge for less mobile guests. We didn’t realise there wasn’t a dishwasher but that wasn’t a problem as we were just the two of us. It is also wonderfully quiet considering how close it is to all the amenities. We loved our stay there.

Very familiar with Deal as our grandparents lived near the town many years ago & we still visit regularly. It was therefore lovely to find this cosy house a literal stone’s throw from the beach and a very easy walk into Deal for the shops and restaurants. The house is tastefully decorated and very well equipped. It has a secluded courtyard garden which would be a real sun trap later in the year. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to book again later in the year.

I stayed recently for 3 nights with my grown up daughters to celebrate my birthday. The cottage exceeded my expectations as better than the photographs ( which were very enticing) and perfect for our needs with more space than we expected. Tastefully decorated was very clean with good quality linen and towels and importantly warm on arrival as it was very cold outside. The wood burner added to the cosy feel. Situated in the conservation area close to the sea and restaurant bars and quirky shops.
