We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable. Olwen was excellent in the office assisting us with places to go sightsee. The only criticism I have is that the electricity was very expensive for just a week.

As always Melfort Village proved a big hit again. Stayed in a different cottage as there was more of us and also took over another cottage for two nights. Scattered my husbands ashes and planted a tree/bench in his memory. Everything was perfect.. The company the views the family Scottish music and even the weather. Melfort Club was brilliant very helpful lovely and kind to all of us throuout our stay. Thankyou everyone

As a long term member of Melfort Village. This stay had a purpose. Scattering my late husbands ashes and planting a tree in his memory. The melfort team helped me all way through. And kindly donated a bench in his honour. Family friends including many locals we have come to know over many years, came along also. Weather wise it was the best day of our stay and beautiful things were said, a wee dram ( or rather a full bottle) of Jura was drunk, bagpipes were played. My husband loved Melfort and his spirit is now free to walk the ridges he so longed to do and be with the wildlife he loved to watch. I could not have asked for more. And as always the warm courteous staff who have become our friends could not have done more. I am proud to be a member and love my 'wee bit of heaven on earth'

A great base location for walks, visiting islands and distilleries. The resort village offered a memorable musical evening and the fine dining offered at beautiful Melfort House, within walking distance, was a wonderful experience.

Our stay at Melfort was wonderful. The staff at reception were excellent, very friendly, always helpful and it was a pleasure to meet such lovely people. The cottage was nice and facilities available were perfect. The location was stunning, peaceful and each day was a joy. The children had so much to do. We hope to be back next year and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to all the staff at Melfort Village!
