This cozy home is ideal for families and friends. Easy beach access for boating, skiing, fishing, walking the beach, and a relaxing day in the sun. Enjoy fires on the beach or cocktails on the deck. The property is situated close enough to Traverse City to enjoy local activities and festivals and yet far enough away for quiet privacy and spectacular sunsets.
This is a wonderful house nestled in the woods right on Lake Michigan. It was very clean, comfortable and the owners were very prompt and responsive when we needed to get in touch with them. We will definitely be looking to stay here again soon!
Five women including me stayed in the rental for the weekend for a girl's weekend. The accommodations were perfect for our group. The view of the lake was amazing. I would love to stay here in the summer and enjoy the water/beach.
This is a cozy house with beautiful beach access on a lovely stretch of sand. House is well-appointed and somewhat remodeled, somewhat rustic, and dog friendly which was very important to us. It was perfect for our friends' weekend. Our host was always available for questions and checked in to make sure we were happy.
Sound of water and birds, waves crashing, fire burning in real wood fireplace, sunsets on patio, fires on beach, swimming in East bay in beautiful sandy bottom, kayaking on East bay. Need I say more!?
Lovely property with georgous views. Owners very responsive and easy to work with. Would highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful weekend unwinding with the great view of the bay. The house was very charming and plenty of room for separate family spaces:)
Absolutely beautiful and very rustic. Nice location. beds are a bit firm so I would recommend that you bring an egg crate to put on mattress if you need a softer bed. When we first entered home we noticed it was musty, but no different that a cabin that has been closed up for a while. We got a couple of plug i. Air fresheners and that took care of the problem. No gas grill which was great because we haven't used o charcoal grill for a very long time. Our Pork loin turn out amazing. Best we've had in a very long time. Sitting out on the deck was probably my favorite. Very comfy Adirondack chairs. Enjoyed our lake view while sipping on my coffee. And the views from the main floor bedrooms were AMAZING!
A wonderful place for our family get together. Location was secluded, but only a short distance from Traverse City. We enjoyed the beach (chairs provided) and the nice view of the lake out the window always present. The working upstairs fireplace was nice to sit around in the evening. We wanted to sit on the beach some nights, but the wind and rain prevented that, so the fireplace was a nice backup plan. Would recommend this location.
We always have a great experience at this home. The unique design provides beautiful views of the East Bay. We can relax at the beach or on the expansive porch, or head to TC for dinner and shopping. Carole is always friendly and accommodating. We'll be back!
Just a lovely place, the sound of the waves are still echoing in my head. Wish I was still there
We loved being on the beach right in front of the property. The scenery is beautiful. Anyone looking for a peaceful and serene getaway, this is the place. As always the host was easily accessible and always available to assist with our needs.
This is the right place to disconnect anytime of the year! We had a lovely time. Jennifer
The view of the bay is pretty. House has a musky odor, outdated decor and the beds are not comfortable. The drive to traverse city is easy and scenic.
Carole was a very helpful host. The house is gorgeous with amazing sunset views on your private beach. Equal distant to traverse city and elk rapids . We highly recommend visiting elk rapids and the cellar 152 restaurant to complete your stay.
