What's nearby:
Located in a friendly and quiet neighborhood only four miles away from downtown Bar Harbor, this cottage offers the perfect location near dining and entertaining options while away from the hustling and bustling of the city. One of the best and favorite destinations on the East Coast by many, Bar Harbor offers that small-town magic that most people are after with historic charm, a beautiful coastline, great restaurants, wedding venues, and a range of activities. Most visitors head to the nearby Acadia National Park (one mile away), which is a great place for walking, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and bird-watching. Take a refreshing and relaxing stroll along Shore Path, a coastal trail that starts next to Agamond Park at the Town’s Ells Pier–it's by far a local and tourists' favorite.

Great location. Close to downtown and park. Plenty of space. Comfortable beds and linens. Large kitchen. Enjoyed sitting on front porch in the morning. Convenience to washer/dryer.
We enjoyed our stay at House Acadia. When we arrived, everything was clean and ready for us. The only two slight downsides was the bathroom ceiling had some remnants of mold and the laundry room was shared with the other units so we had to coordinate accordingly. But we would definitely stay here again!
Called and nobody ever responded. Tried many times.
Many positives and a few detractors. Loved the location and the privacy of the house. Very close to the entry to Acadia and the visitor center. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very roomy. Ample cookware and place settings. Large frig. However, the bathroom ceiling is developing black mold. While there is a washer/dryer in the building, it is accessible through the garage and another door that is not obvious. Also key to note is that this is accessible to all of the cabin occupants from an another exterior door.
Enjoyed our stay and location. Everything with the property was okay with exception of gas fireplace. Had no visible controls and no instructions. Reached out to Vacasa by phone and received minimal assistance. Asked for call back and sent text also. No reply from either.
Location makes for great access to the main entrance to Acadia National Park and the drive to downtown Bar Harbor is easy. If you really wanted to, you could walk 10 min downhill to a few restaurants. Beds and sheets ok, felt a bit stuff. A few cobwebs in the corners. The kitchen is well stocked and all the charging outlets much appreciated. Overall a solid stay.
We enjoyed our vacation to Acadia National Park, and this cozy house worked well for us. It was within short driving distance of all the restaurants and the park and gave us a comfortable spot to land in between activities. While it doesn’t have a view of the water or the mountains, it served its purpose for us and was clean and comfortable. We could wash a couple loads of laundry as needed, cook our breakfasts, easily come and go, and it fit all of us well — especially having two king beds. We didn’t notice much road noise either due to the air conditioning muffling outdoor sounds. I would stay there again if we were traveling with all of our kids (teens/20s).
The house was very clean and comfortable.
Location and lots of room
Located near the entrance to Acadia National Park and to Bar Harbor. The property is clean, comfortable with new appliances and air conditioned if the weather gets warm. This was my first stay on Mount Desert Island and it was great!
