Stayed Aug 19, 2023Loved the many friendly animals (emus & goats). Super comfy & warm night's sleep and the fresh garden produce selected was a great breaky addition. For us the booking was over nested accommodation providers (Xperia, AirB&B, and Vrbo) which made comms a little tedious at first.

Stayed Jan 31, 2026It was a very hot weekend so the solitary aircon really struggled to cool the rest of the house. Stove was really old and would have appreciated some instructions on how to use that or the pizza oven. Bbq ignition button didn’t work either. Fruit trees outside were nice and my daughter enjoyed the emus next door.

Stayed Nov 1, 2025Excellent stay at the quiet countryside home. Chris was a great host. We loved the mature gardens, bbq, farm animals and open spaces. The home had all the amenities to give us a comfortable stay. A perfect location to enjoy hikes, walks and Myrtleford bakeries. Would hope to stay again.

Stayed Sep 25, 2025Excellent location, we arrived late and Chris had the lights on and the fire roaring ready for our stay. The kids loved feeding the emus and going down to the creek. Easy access to local towns.

Stayed Jul 31, 2025Nice host who had the fire going. Place was absolutely freezing the following days, unless we set the fire. Reverse cycle heater wasn’t crash hot, we think the filter needed changing as not much heat was coming out. Very grateful for the electric blankets on the beds.Kitchen needed a good deep clean. We enjoyed the fire pit one night. Was surprised it would cost and extra 20 to feed the emus and 25 a bag of extra wood. Not much area on the property to explore when it was a farm stay. Very picturesque area of Victoria to visit.

Stayed May 4, 2025Wonderful 'meet-in-the-middle' house that held our extended family and toddlers who loved the emus! We will definitely be booking this house again and the proximity to great food in Myrtleford was a real bonus. The house had lots of room although we would not recommend the sofa bed for more than 1 person.

Stayed May 6, 2025Absolutely the best farm stay ever!We had such an amazing time here — the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. There were so many fun activities to do, perfect for both kids and adults! We loved chestnut picking — it was our first time and such a unique experience. The farm also lets you feed animals like sheep, emus, and chickens, which was a big highlight, especially for the little ones. There’s a beautiful creek walk on the property, where you can enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and take in the fresh air. The scenery all around is just stunning — truly a perfect escape from the city.If you’re looking for a relaxing and fun getaway, this farm stay is a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed Dec 28, 2024On arrival we were greeted by our wonderful host Chris who shared his wealth of information about the area. The house was perfect for our stay with family. Very clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed and more. The children were delighted when Chis arrived the next morning to feed the emus goats and chooks. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner on the lovely paved covered outdoor dining area. Across the road we enjoyed splashing in the creek with the children and 3 year old labrador- all waterbabies.Lovely stay. Thanks Chris and family.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024We had a family/friend group of 8 plus 2 dogs. We had been late for checking due to the lomg drive but the host (Chris) had the house warm and cozy when we arrived. We went to the ghost tour at the beechworth asylum and had a great day in town on Saturday. Plenty to do and see. Two nights was not long enough. Everyone enjoyed the house and the animals, even the dogs had a great time. Would book agaim but next time a few more nights. Relax and Recharge.

Stayed Jun 29, 2024We had a nice time here, and the kids loved the farm animals. Chris was a nice host and was good with the kids. The house and appliances are long in the tooth but it is cosey and warm. The town was a bit of letdown though in terms of variety of restaurants etc. Make sure you bring your own supplies.
